Things are not too good for Tiffany Haddish right now.
The 42-year-old had been on a steady rise in the comedy and film industry since she starred in the "The Carmichael Show," winning a prime-time Emmy in 2017 and a Grammy award in 2019.
However, her career took a quick turn for the worse amid allegations of child abuse and molestation for producing inappropriate comedy skits involving children.
Though the court case has been dismissed, the "Girls Trip" star has revealed that the claims negatively impacted her career by making her lose all her gigs.

Tiffany Haddish Says She 'Lost Everything'
While speaking to TMZ, Haddish shared details about what has been going on for her work-wise after the child sexual abuse lawsuit against her and fellow comedian Aries Spears first made the headlines.
"I lost everything. All my gigs, gone. Everything, gone," she told the publication, explaining that her career had gone downhill due to the claims.
Haddish and her brother were sued late last month by a 22-year-old woman and her 14-year-old brother in a lawsuit that claimed that the comedian and Spears groomed and sexually abused them during their childhoods.
However, in a shocking turn of events, the main accuser, identified as Jane Doe, asked the court to drop the suit for reasons that have yet to be revealed.
Haddish expressed "relief" when asked by the publication how she feels now that the lawsuit has been dropped but said that she was more "concerned" for the kids, apparently alluding to the plaintiffs, who were 14 and 7 at the time the alleged molestation happened.
The Charges Against Tiffany Haddish
At the filing of the suit, the claims brought against the comedian and her brother included sexual battery, sexual harassment, gross negligence, and sexual abuse of a minor, as well as intentional infliction of emotional distress.
Haddish was further accused of being negligent with supervision and breach of fiduciary duty, implying that the comedian did not act in the kids' best interest when they were in her custody.
Haddish's lawyer, Andrew Brettler, asserted from the get-go that the claims were "bogus" and expressed that Doe's mother had tried severally in the past to smear the comedian with it.
Brettler said, via New York Post, "Every attorney who has initially taken on her case — and there were several — ultimately dropped the matter once it became clear that the claims were meritless and Ms. Haddish would not be shaken down."
The Claims Were Grim
In the lawsuit, the exact details of the claims by Doe and her brother were revealed, which particularly cited that they shot inappropriate comedy skits for Haddish and her brother.
Per New York Post, Doe and her brother took part in a skit that involved a Subway sandwich, in which they were instructed to it from opposite sides. The crucial component of the script, however, called for the young actors to "moan" and make "sexual sounds" while they devoured the sandwich, simulating the act of "fellatio."
The lawsuit also cited another skit dubbed "Through A Pedophiles Eyes," which "shows Spears lusting over the 7-year-old child and molesting him throughout the video. Haddish was present during the filming of the entire video and aided, abetted, and watched Spears sexually molest a child."
Tiffany Haddish Could File For Defamation
Following the dismissal of the suit, Doe issued a statement to the press that was in stark contrast to what was being argued in court. The plaintiff appeared to apologize for first suing the comedian and said Haddish would never have intended to "hurt" her.
It read, per The Blast, "My family and I have known Tiffany Haddish for many years — and we now know that she would never harm me or my brother or help anyone else do anything that could harm... We wish Tiffany the best and are glad that we can all put this behind us."
In the meantime, it is unclear if the comedian would file for damages, given her claims of losing her jobs and career as a whole due to the lawsuit. Haddish has also been tight-lipped about the case since it went to court, which further shrouds that possibility.
