Love Is Blind is the only thing going on with fans right now, especially on Twitter. The world is enamored with the show because it's so unconventional. You cannot see the person you're falling in love with. And of course, like with every show, the fans love a specific character-set (in this case, they're real life people, but still).
Amber and Barnett are the fan-favorite at the moment, who were embroiled in a bit of drama. No fear, folks, they've opened up to the world about their drama.

The fans of the show, Love Is Blind have some... mixed feelings. Amber and Barnett were the only two to tie the knot, and still remain together today. They dealt with a lot of drama involving Jessica Batten, and of course, we had some family drama. Barnett assures us that having Amber meet his family did not go as badly as it looked.
“Looking back at it, it didn’t feel that awkward or uncomfortable,” Barnett said in an interview with the Los Angeles Times on Feb. 29. “Yeah, Amber came in and was nervous, but overall, my family was pretty chill and actually my dad had a beer with her. It wasn’t that big of a deal.” Barnett went on to tell us, later in the show, that his brother was a bit protective of him, and claimed that was just how his brother is. Barnett stated that his brother wanted to make sure they were doing 'this' for the right reasons.
Essentially a cute family moment, really!

Did you know that the show made Amber's financial situation look worse than it truly is? It was either an exaggeration on the show's part, or a misunderstanding on the fans part. Amber told Barnett that, "she works to live", and does not "live to work", and she had a lot of debt due to that. Some fans took this as a red flag, thinking Amber wanted to live off of Barnett. But that is not the case!
“That was a piece of a much larger conversation, most of which Matt and I had in private,” Amber said about what the audience didn’t see. “And, yeah, I had student debts at the time, but so did Matt.”

She then said it was unfortunate that the viewers were only allowed to see a slice of that conversation; because it was not the full truth.
“Like I said, I didn’t want to have any kind of false advertising or anything hidden,” Amber said about being an open book to her then-fiance. “I wanted to be accepted fully. Matt knew pretty much all of my skeletons when got married.” She lastly points out that any haters who want to come after her for the financial conversations can keep it to themselves. “Our money is our problem,” Amber said.

As for HOW to get on Love Is Blind, Netflix... selected their contestants from Instagram. They both received random DMs, “I got a random message request on Instagram from somebody who was like, ‘How would you feel about being on TV?’ And I was a little sketched out.”
However, they're not sure how they were found. They think it was because they used #Atlanta, but continue to make it clear that: “I don’t know how they found me because my Instagram is private. I got lucky, I guess.”
I guess Instagram can change your life.
