Jon Hamm Recalls Paul Rudd Doing This ONE THING That Helped His Career

Jon Hamm did some major explaining about his underwear habits, love life and Paul Rudd.

The “Mad Men” actor visited “The Howard Stern” show on September 19th.

In true Stern style, the legendary radio host didn’t hold back when it came to interviewing the Emmy winner.

Stern confronted Hamm about his hog below the belt, and asked whether or not he wears underwear.

“Did they tell you on ‘Mad Men’ you must wear underwear, that your penis is so large that it is in fact interfering with the performance,” Stern pressed.

“I have worn underwear every single day of my life, Howard,” Hamm responded.

When asked if it’s a rumor, Hamm said “yes.”

“First of all, who doesn’t wear underwear? I wear underwear, I’ve worn underwear every day of my life,” he continued. “I love a comfy boxer brief. Thank you very much. I like a breathable cotton. I mean, come on man. Who doesn’t?”

The “whole penis thing” started nearly a decade ago when Hamm was photographed running errands with his then-girlfriend, Jennifer Westfeldt.

In the photos, which you can find all over the internet, an outline of the actor’s impressive “package” could be seen clear as day in his pants.

This sent the internet buzzing about how well-endowed he is.

Another hard-hitting topic Stern covered is whether or not the actor will “settle down” and get married and have children.

He’s currently in a relationship with Anna Osceola. They’ve been romantically linked since 2020 and went public with their relationship earlier this year at an Oscars party.

“I’m in a relationship right now and it’s comfortable. It’s a feeling of taking care of someone else and being taken care of,” he admitted.

This is his first serious relationship since his 2015 split from Westfeldt. The two dated from 1997 to 2015.

Hamm has been working on his mental health and unpacking past traumas.

“It’s only been in the last couple of years, me kind of sitting down and really thinking about all of that stuff that’s made the relationship now even more meaningful, and opened up the possibility of things like being married, having kids… defining a new version happiness, life, wellness,” Hamm explained. “What else is there other than that?”

The actor admitted he is very much in love, but declined Stern’s offer to announce he’s getting married. For clarification, Hamm is not getting married.

The “Top Gun: Maverick” actor also talked about his dear friend, Rudd.

“The one person I knew who had a Hollywood career was Paul Rudd,” Hamm said when talking about first coming to Los Angeles. “I remember saying to him, ‘Look dude, I’m not gonna like blow up your spot. All I need is one phone number. Just give me one phone number of somebody I can call that can be helpful in some way.”

Rudd ended up giving Hamm the phone number of his first manager.

“He said, ‘Call him, he knows everybody.’ And I sat in a room with this dude for like three hours, the guy just talked and talked and talked,” Hamm recalled.

From this meeting, the “TAG” star got an agent, went on “a million auditions and not getting any of them.”

Hamm gushed about how Rudd has always been a generous person, “we’ve been friends for going on thirty years now.”
