In February, reports started circulating that Disney is working on a live-action Rapunzel movie. It's hasn't been officially confirmed that the movie will be a live-action version of Tangled, Disney's animated feature about Rapunzel, however, fans are already talking about the movie as if it's definitely a live-action Tangled.

So, of course, fans are already tweeting about their dream castings for a live-action Tangled. There's a huge fan movement to cast Florence Pugh, from Little Women and Black Widow in the role. Fans pointed out her resemblance to Rapunzel and her killer singing voice, that she showed off in the movie Midsommar.

Actress and former pop singer Mandy Moorevoiced Rapunzel in the actual Tangled movie and series, so she'd be perfect for the role in the live-action movie. Plus, she already knows the role and all the songs.

Yeah, she's not exactly the right age for the role, but she still looks young enough to play the role believably as long as she's cast alongside the right actor in the role of Flynn Rider. Which leads to the fan suggestion that Zachary Levi, who originally voiced Flynn, should be cast in the role in the live-action movie.

For Disney super-fans, going with the original casting is the only way.

Who better to play a Disney Princess than someone who's already been a Disney Princess? Kristen Bell, better known to Disney fans as Frozen's Anna, would make an awesome Rapunzel. She's already shown off her incredible singing voice in a Disney movie, and she's used to working with the company since she's now done two movies with them.

The only drawback to Bell playing Rapunzel is that it would make it difficult for her to play Anna in a live-action version of Frozen.

Lili Reinhart is best known for her role on the CW's Riverdale. And during the musical episode of Riverdale, which aired in 2018, Reinhart revealed that she's just as good a singer as she is an actress.

After the show aired, Reinhart said that she started singing and acting at the same time, when she was only 10 years old. Though her career hasn't presented her many opportunities to sing, she's definitely got the talent necessary to rock the role of Rapunzel.

Some fans had another casting suggestion - for both Rapunzel and Mother Gothel. Fans pointed out that Cher and Amanda Seyfried, who worked together on the new Mama Mia movie, had the perfect look for the characters.

Cher has been a musical icon for years and Seyfried showed off her amazing pipes in Mama Mia. So, obviously, they both have the singing talent required to pull off the roles. They've also worked together before, which would give them great chemistry in the roles.
