'Swifties' Are Pondering TikTok's Cryptic Taylor Swift Announcement!

After ten full-length albums, Taylor Swift's fanbase has surely gathered she has a fondness for singing about midnight and the early hours of the morning!

Now Swift is honoring midnight in the ultimate fashion: by releasing a new album called "Midnights" which will exclusively be devoted to songs she had written at the stroke of midnight.

In the three weeks since Swift announced her tenth album, the 32-year-old singer has teased many easter eggs and tidbits of information about her new record.

When she announced the existence of "Midnights" late last month at the MTV Video Music Awards, she told fans more concrete details would be revealed at midnight. An announcement featuring the album's cover art was soon shared on Swift's Instagram and Twitter accounts.

Now, Swift will be taking to her TikTok tonight at midnight to share an announcement! Read on to find out more details.

Swift has been an active TikTok user for the last year.

Not only does she interact with fans, frequently going on 'liking sprees' within the depths of 'swifttok,' but she also uses the social network to tease upcoming pieces of career news!

Lately, she has used her TikTok to tease multiple aspects about "Midnights," and The Blast has been keeping our eye on Swift's feed.

On August 31st, she created a TikTok featuring the three additional covers of the album. In the caption for the TikTok, Swift gave a nod to "August," a popular fan-favorite track from her 2020 album "folklore."

She wrote, "August may have slipped away but September brings 3 additional special edition covers," and also revealed the album would be available on CD as well. The caption also revealed fans could pre-order the "collectible CD versions and unique color vinyl versions now."

Swift has posted two additional TikToks since, one detailing the revelation that the four total covers would make a clock when they were all put together, and a behind-the-scenes look at the album's recording, featuring the album's producer and her pal, The Bleachers' Jack Antonoff.

Swifties congregated in the comment section of the latter TikTok, expressing their blatant excitement for the next chapter of her music career.

The official TikTok Twitter account joined in on the fun by posting an announcement. It read, "meet us at @taylorswift13's TikTok account at midnight ET," and included a clock emoji. The announcement also included "Midnights" related hashtags including #SwiftTok.

Fans were all over the TikTok announcement in the subreddit dedicated to Swift!

The first comment in the discussion, which currently has 219 comments, says, "Feels like the lead single announcement is actually coming this time." It currently has 437 'upvotes.'

Another fan joked, "She's going to announce 48 more vinyl variants. If you arrange them all together and cover your entire bedroom wall, you can make a 2023 calendar."

Fans also discussed the possibility of Swift going "live" to announce the first single as well!

Over on 'the bird app' side of social media, fans also flocked to the comment section of TikTok's aforementioned tweet.

Swifties were obviously fully awake and expressed their excitement with a chorus of 'OMGs' and 'WHATs' as well!

Tomorrow will mark a month until "Midnights'" release! The album, which will include 13 tracks, will be available on October 21st.
