Harry Styles Comes Clean About One Direction Member Zayn Malik

In the early 2010s, there was a new band called One Direction that was stealing all the little girl's hearts. This band consisted of 5 band members Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan. These 5 boys all had different backgrounds but all shared the same vision to become the best in the world, and they were on their way. If you don't know the back history of the band here is a recap: The English-Irish pop band competed on the music show X-Factor and got signed by Simon Crowell after finishing third on the seventh season. The band didn't waste any time scoring a number one record in the UK, Ireland, Mexico, and Scotland, while also securing the number 4 record in the USA with the track What Makes You Beautiful. In 2015 it was confirmed on the 1D official Facebook page that bandmember Zayn Malik was leaving the band in pursuit of a solo career. Then rumors started spreading and it seems like the band wasn't a "Family," as they made it seem. Some issues that were exposed happen between band members Zayn and Harry after Mailk departure the band didn't last either, with band member Harry Styles also going solo. The subs started when Malik announced his deal with RCA records supported with the caption " Time to make real music." In 2017 Malik interviewed with Us Weekly and spoke upon his relationship with Harry Styles, "To be honest, I never really spoke to Harry even when I was in the band," he said when asked if he kept in contact with his bandmate. "So I didn’t expect that much of a relationship with him." Ouch!

As time went on so did the once band members, Zayn continued to throw shade towards his ex-member in an interview with British Vogue. "I have always been a bit like that, though — always a bit of an island. I don’t like to confer with too many people," he said. "I ain’t spoke to any of them for a long time, to be honest with you. That’s just the way it is." Zayn also blamed the rift between him and his bandmates on comments that were made about him, "There’s things that happen and things that were said after I left… Snide things. Small things that I would never have expected. That’s just the way it is. People move on, people grow apart, people grow up." Zayn never said what was said or who said it but outside of Zayn the other members of the band were tight lip on the situation.

Well, until Harry Styles recently opened up about Zayn departure from the band, " “It was kind of like we were sad, obviously, that…he was not enjoying it so much that he had to leave,” Harry said, adding that One Direction’s music and touring were doing well, and he had thought everyone involved was “enjoying it.“You didn’t realize he wasn’t enjoying it that much,” the “Sweet Creature” singer continued of the band’s shock when Zayn chose to leave. In the end, they were sad to see Zayn move on, but relieved for him that he no longer had to do something he didn’t want to do." Harry explained during his Beats 1 Radio interview.
