Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union Share Beautiful Musical Performance of 12-Year-Old Daughter Zaya

Future NBA Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade has been in full support of his 12-year-old daughter Zaya, who recently came out as transgender. Wade's wife, Gabrielle Union, also continues to show love towards Zaya in the midst of a lot of negativity on social media. Zaya has been met with criticism by celebrities such as rapper Boosie Badazz, who ignorantly said on Instagram not to "cut his d*ck off." This actually resulted in him being banned from a local Georgia Planet Fitness.

Wade still continues to uplift Zaya though as on Sunday, he posted a video to his Instagram account of her singing at a performance with fellow students. His caption read "J.O.Y. ~ A Feeling Of Great Pleasure And Happiness! That’s What Watching Zaya Sing And Dance Last Night Felt Like For Our Family ❤️ ?" You could definitely hear the passion in Zaya's voice as she sung her heart out. This was definitely an nice proud father moment for Wade.

Union and their 1-year-old daughter, Kaavia James, were also in attendance to support Zaya's performance. Per, Hollywood Life, this is also the first public appearance by Zaya since coming out about her sexuality. Union posted a photo of the performance to her Instagram story where she said "The joy!!" excitedly. She also posted her and Kaavia James enjoying themselves during the performance. A beautiful family photo was also snapped where Union said "Our Village." Wade also posted a photo of Zaya holding flowers with the caption "Enough Said" with heart eye emojis.

In this post, Union continued to show love along with their son, Zaire. Other stars such as Gary Vaynerchuck,Lance Stephenson, and Candace Parker also voiced their support in the Instagram comments section. This entire situation took a lot of courage by Zaya so her strength to come out is very admirable. Zaya ended up receiving so much attention for coming out that she even appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where fans from all around the country continued to admire her.

Dwyane Wade has also been making headlines as his No. 3 jersey was retired by the Miami Heat last weekend. During that time, he also performed with fellow Miami legend Rick Ross as he appeared on Ross' "Season Ticket Holder" record. He started his career in Miami from 2003-2016 as he won three championships with them. He finished his career with the Heat in the 2018-19 season. Among the other impressive accolades in his NBA career are being an NBA Finals MVP, 13x All-Star, 2x All-NBA First Team a league scoring champion in 2009, and a 2010 All-Star Game MVP.
