'Twilight' Actress Ashley Green And Husband Paul Khoury Welcome Their First Baby

Ashley Greene is a mom!

The "Twilight" actress and her husband Paul Khoury welcomed their first baby last week. They announced their daughter's arrival on Instagram with a photo of baby Kingsley Rainn wrapped in a red blanket with just her little hands showing captioned, "And just like that - everything changed. In a single moment, you came into our world and everything else faded away. Nothing else mattered. The love we're engulfed in cannot be explained, only felt in the deepest of ways. We love you so much baby girl. Welcome to our world. Kingsley Rainn Khoury 09/16/2022."

The comment section of the announcement was filled with congratulatory messages, love, and excitement for the little girl's arrival.

Since announcing her pregnancy in March, Greene has taken her followers on her pregnancy journey with her by posting updates on Instagram. The couple first announced the pregnancy in with a sweet black-and-white photo of them holding up their sonogram captioned, "I love you more than I've ever loved anything and somehow my heart just keeps expanding to love you EVEN more. I cannot wait to watch you share your light, love, and passion with our baby."

Just a month before announcing their pregnancy, Greene spoke to PEOPLE about wanting children. "My husband and I are both kind of like, it's going to happen. And trust me, we're at the point where both of our parents are hinting, and they're like, 'Okay, we're ready. You guys have been married a couple of years now,'" she said. "It's just one of those things where it's where our lives are in hyper-speed sometimes. And so [it's about] finding that moment." They obviously found the moment, because a month later, the two made the exciting announcement that they were expecting.

The couple tied the knot in July 2018. A source told PEOPLE at the time that, "The ceremony was beautiful" and that the couple came up with a cute idea as to who would read their vows first. "Paul and Ashley [played] rock-paper-scissors to decide who would say their vows first during the ceremony," the insider said. "Ashley ended up 'losing' and went first."

To celebrate their third anniversary, Greene posted a wedding photo captioned, "Three years and I still can't seem to keep my hand off you, or a smile off my face. You light up my life in a way I never knew possible. You encourage me, challenge me, lift me up and catch me when I fall. If I could give everyone a gift, it would be to find a partner like you... you've really set an impossibly high bar ☺️ ...You are truly my best friend, the love of my life and my safe haven. Greene posted pregnancy snaps throughout her pregnancy, with the last one just five days before their daughter was born. The photo of the couple featuring Greene's baby belly was captioned, "My baby daddy."
