Kylie Jenner's Swimsuit & Rapunzel Hair Pic Bombs: 'Delete This'

Kylie Jenner received very mixed feedback indeed as early responses to her Sunday Instagram update came in. The 22-year-old reality star and makeup mogul is currently vacationing with 2-year-old daughter Stormi and a BFF squad that includes Anastasia "Stassie" Karanikolaou – the two have been lounging poolside and partying it up with tequila, although more age-appropriate beach activities with Stormi were included via a mommy-and-daughter beach snap.

Kylie delivered a fresh Instagram update earlier today. The swimsuit received few complaints, but not all fans appeared to be digging the insanely-long and Rapunzel-style braid.

Kylie's photo showed her solo and seated at the tip of a white diving board overlooking a swimming pool. The Bahamas residence that Kylie is staying in was featured in the background.

Kylie herself was rocking a leg-flashing swimsuit and what were most likely the February 22-released Travis Scott x Nike sneakers she rocked on the private jet journey out. Kylie sat posing in her Travis Scott Cactus Jack Nike SB Dunk Lows, shooting the camera a direct gaze as she modeled her new honey-blonde hair with long extensions forming the world's longest braid.

While the update proved popular on the likes front, clocking an impressive 2.6 million+ likes in under an hour, the comments section proved another story.

Quickly upvoted was a comment pointing out the extreme length of the braid.

"Your hair is in the grass," the fan wrote.

"That ain't it," another said.

Meanwhile, one user racking up likes simply wrote: "Kylie, delete this."

"I'm sorry, is that a tail?" another asked.

Responses weren't all negative, though. That said, even celebs seemed thrown. Britney Spears' 28-year-old sister Jamie Lynn wrote:

"Thought this was a snake at first glance...still gorg tho."

Fans also took the humorous route.

"hair stylist: how long do you want your braid today?

@kyliejenner: yes," one wrote.

"can you use it as a skipping rope" was another comment.

Although Kylie's braid was called "a mess" by one fan, the Calabasas-based star did manage to garner compliments from her less-critical fans.

"Sweet thang Rapunzel," one wrote.

Kylie has been updating her stories alongside her permanent posts as she sunbathes poolside and enjoys tasty snacks with her squad, although fan talk has taken one route – everyone thinks she's back with Travis Scott.

Kylie went cryptic just a few days ago, posting some stories showing photos of herself with ex and baby daddy Travis. The "Astroworld" rapper was spotted courtside with Kylie back in 2018 as their romance heated up, with Kylie choosing to post these photos, captioned "Mood."

Kylie and Travis split in October 2019, choosing to co-parent their daughter Stormi. The two did reunite recently for Stormi's wild second birthday party, but aside from the latest update, the vibe has been decidedly non-coupley. For the tabloid press, though, this was a "back on" sign.
