Things have quickly taken an unexpected turn for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

Between the outcries from UK citizens and recent speculation about relationship troubles, the headlines have been exploding over the royal pair.

Not to mention that news has just come out that Meghan Markle is expected to attend one of Hollywood's most prestigious red carpet events, without Prince Harry!

The Met Gala has become a viewer spectacular with some of the biggest names in entertainment making appearances.

I think it's pretty clear there's more going on than we're being told.

With Prince Harry and Meghan stepping down from the royal office and controversy circulating about their future together, I think the pressure is getting to them.

The Queen has clearly been against several of their decisions, and the news has been very critical of their statements lately.

I'm always one to give the benefit of the doubt when I can, but even this writer sees some problems with the validity of their arguments.

My biggest question right now is, why is Meghan going to the Met Gala with someone like Edward Enninful?

These kinds of things usually come before an announcement that a couple is having relationship issues.

Meghan is a beautiful woman and has a right to do what she wants. Several articles have come out claiming that she's making these appearances to get back in the Hollywood limelight.

Ok, so why go with Henry? I can't be the only one with suspicions over this whole thing.

I'm also curious whether this is a security measure for Meghan over recent backlash she and Henry have received over the new tax being introduced.

Many people have posted online claiming there is no reason to pay £20m a year to support a family that doesn't contribute anything to their government or economy.

I don't live in the UK being in the US myself, so I'm biased when it comes to unfair taxes, but I'd say there's more to it than most realize.

It has been reported that terrorist groups threatened to kidnap and or harm Prince Henry a while back.

This has been one of the primary reasons for him to step down from royal duties.

On a side note, the Met Gala is to be held on May 4th and is expected to have a massive list of attendants this year.

The theme is unique and we can expect to see some spectacular outfits on the theme "About Time". It can pretty much be summed up with 'diversity, history, and gender'.

Pretty fitting for the times, and a lot of regular viewers are in great anticipation for this fabulous charity event. I mean, who doesn't want to see their favorite celebrity wear a cool outfit?
