Is Cardi B Held Back by Star Brim Recent Accusations?

Cardi B’s best friend, Star Brim, is looking at jail time. Star Brim’s real name who’s real name is Yonette Respass, is one of Cardi B’s best friends. Cardi B and Star Brim are both affiliated with a gang called the Five-Nine Brim. She has been affiliated since she was sixteen years old. This seems to be years before Cardi, The Clout rapper, and Starr Brim officially knew each other. 18 members within the five-nine gang have been publically announced to be indicted for several crimes. Starr Brim was one of the members being indicted. She is the highest-ranking member and one of the leaders.

Cardi B has been very vocal about her affiliation with her gang. In the past, she would wear elaborate red wigs, all red clothing, or other noticeable markers. In Cardi B’s music video Red Bars, you can see her rocking her red clothing proudly. Star Brim also makes a guest appearance in the Red Bars music video. Recently the gang has been receiving some negative press. It is alleged that several members conducted crimes against other members to increase or maintain gang leadership.

These new accusations come after multiple other reports from the past. The crimes they are being accused of can lead to serious long-term prison time. During an interview with Charlemagne The God, Star Brim mentioned a volatile past. She discussed how much she had to overcome from her younger days. She spoke about memorable moments during her more youthful days, where she made some less than ethical choices. There currently are not any updates on what her positioning is on the most current crimes she’s being accused of.

Cardi B has also seen the courtroom quite a few times. Cardi B has received several allegations from two female bartenders who claimed that Cardi ordered two attacks on them. There was speculation that Cardi B’s husband had an intermarital affair with one of them. Hence, prompting the attacks – some speculate. Cardi B’s husband is Offset from popular group Migos. Migos released popular hits Bad and Boojee and Motorsport – which also feature Cardi B and Nicki Minaj. Cardi B and Offset also share a beautiful baby girl, Kulture. Although there is speculation on Cardi’s involvement in the attacks with the bartenders, she has maintained her innocence and lack of involvement.

In the end, Cardi B is seemingly staying healthy and keeping her head up during recent allegations. The Grammy award-winning artist is still booked and business! Cardi recently bought a beautiful picturesque home and has signed important business deals. She most recently posted a Tik Tok video of her and her husband Offset. In the video, Cardi B and Offset are having a great time on their private jet. They are dancing and feeding each other McDonalds ice cream. There does not look like there is too much of anything that can stop Cardi’s successful upward trajectory.
