Kaley Cuoco's Mushroom 'Touched' Her Salmon And The Video Is Crisis Mode

Kaley Cuoco gave her assistant the day off this weekend – and regretted it. The "Big Bang Theory" actress has been shooting non-stop for her upcoming HBO Max series "The Flight Attendant" – alongside filming in Italy and NYC, Kaley has been pulling "splits" shifts. Her Instagram stories on Saturday even opened with a mention that she's working six days a week.

Kaley, 34, was seen sitting in front of her camera and wearing a light gray t-shirt today as she spoke into the camera.

Kaley got straight to the point.

"Because I'm extremely nice to the people I work with, I told Emma, my trusty assistant, to take the day off."

For Kaley, that meant not having Emma grab her lunch. The actress then revealed that she eats the same thing every day for lunch (salmon and vegetables). Kaley had reassured her assistant "you don't need to come to the studio today" – "just order me my normal lunch," she continued.

Kaley then shared video footage of the tasty-looking lunch that had arrived.

Kaley continued to state that if anyone knows her, they'll know that the one food she can't stand is mushrooms.

"If I see one, I really lose my appetite," the blonde confirmed.

The camera then showed Kaley's salmon fillet and veggies plate – and yes, mushrooms had been included. Kaley was seen prodding around her plate with her fork and attempting to push the mushrooms away from the food she planned to consume.

Too late. The mushroom had, as Kaley said, "touched" her salmon.

The camera then moved away from seeing Kaley speaking, focusing entirely on the food plate.

"I don't think I can eat this," Kaley wrote, also giving her assistant's Instagram handle a shout-out. "The mushroom touched my salmon," she added.

Kaley considered picking "around" the mushroom, but the actress didn't appear up for losing her entire meal.

A solution was reached, although Kaley did refer to it as a "crisis" having been "averted." The star had "removed" her mushrooms and tossed them in a trash can – and not an ordinary one. Kaley threw them out in an outdoor trash can.

Earlier this year, Kaley made headlines for what she called the "instant coffee nightmare." The actress was in Rome to shoot her TV series, finding herself up and needing a coffee early in the morning. The hotel's front desk had politely informed Kaley that coffee wasn't being served yet. With local coffee shops also closed, Kaley was informed that the "coffee machine" in her hotel room could be used.

An American discovering Europe's "coffee machines" will not necessarily prove a happy one. Kaley's "coffee machine" was little more than an electric kettle with instant coffee sachets, over which the star had a full meltdown.

Fortunately, Kaley comes with a fantastic crew – they set her room up with a Nespresso machine.
