Chanel West Coast Goes Latex Bikini Barbie On Instagram

Chanel West Coast gets an A for Effort – the 31-year-old rapper and MTV face just made headlines for rocking a pastel pink look from a bathtub, but the outfits are never monotonous with this star. Chanel updated her Instagram on Friday night with a brand new look, and she'd gone eye-popping, from the colors to the flesh-flashing.

Chanel's photos showed her shot against a pastel blue wall and matching the backdrop from head to toe. Both posts have been racking up likes – then again, this is a rapper who complains when people don't leave enough of them.

Chanel's first photo showed her seated on a dark stool and posing with closed eyes as she flaunted her super-fit and curvy body in a tiny latex bikini top. The swimwear look up top was doing wonders for West Coast's trim stomach and cleavage, with a pair of criss-cross matching pants co-ordinating the color perfectly – Chanel even wore matching, pointed-toe shoes.

With her long brown hair tied up into a super-high and braided ponytail, Chanel did, indeed, appear to be channeling a slight Barbie vibe – if not from the hair alone, then definitely as the pastel blue manifested.

Chanel's photos also came complete with a reminder that she's got new music coming.

"Icey b*tch I shine like a beacon ❄️❄️❄️ (that’s a line from a song I haven’t dropped yet lol)," she captioned her first update.

The "Sharon Stoned" rapper had gone the whole hog with her look, also rocking bright blue eyeshadow and her blue arm tattoo, plus a blue latex neck band that fed down to a third strap on her bikini top.

As to the second image showing West Coast standing with her hands on her hips and shooting the camera a direct gaze, the caption was simply: "Blue steel." Chanel also thanked her photographer.

Chanel's fans had paid attention. The comments section to both of the rapper's posts quickly filled up with fans leaving blue-heart emoji, although fire ones were also left for the red hot look.

The announced song lyric also got mentioned.

"I read that as... I shine like “bacon” ??," one fan wrote.

"OMG Amazing," another said.

A comment did, however, come in critiquing the star.

"Chanel tries too hard to gain more likes but ends up getting the same amount she always does and still brags about it thinking she's gonna be more famous then every rapper ? and have more fame," the user wrote.

Chanel more than aired her thoughts earlier this month in a rant to her social media fans.

"For the most part I f_cking like everybody's sh_t, and nobody likes my sh_t. And I'm just like, b_tch I'm f_cking famous on a million episodes of TV, and you got way less followers than me and I'm liking your sh_t and you don't ever wanna like my sh_t?" she wrote, adding:

"Who the f_ck do you think you are? You think I'm desperate because I'm friendly and liking your sh_t? Ain't nobody f_cking desperate, I'm just being nice."

Chanel's first post clocked 65,000+ likes in 16 hours. The second sits at a slightly lower 42,000+.
