The Sky Pays Its Homage To The Late Queen
Ahead of the Queen’s funeral, a rainbow was spotted at the palace of Westminster, where Her Majesty’s coffin lay in state for mourners to pay their last respect. The sightings of rainbows are very rare – hence symbolizing this historic moment.
Per People Magazine, the sighting occurred yesterday, Sunday, at the palace. According to them, a local government official tweeted a photo of the breathtaking sky. In the words of the official, “The most incredible rainbow over the Palace of Westminster on the eve of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral.”
This beautiful rainbow was captured over the “Elizabeth Tower,” formerly called the “Clock Tower.” However, it was later renamed to celebrate the deceased Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, which took place in 2012.
