The dating world can be tough, but being a celebrity can bring a whole new level of difficulty. Singer Lewis Capaldi, 25, has recently been kicked off of three dating apps and not for anything he's done or can control. On an episode of the "Diary of a CEO" with Steven Bartlett podcast this past week, he discussed his love life issues, and why he believes he keeps getting kicked off of apps.

Capaldi Has Been Kicked Off A Few Dating Apps

"I've just been kicked off Tinder because I think people think I'm fake," he said. "So I've been kicked off Bumble, Tinder, Hinge, and Hinge is the one, I love Tinder, Tinder's great, but Hinge is what I really want to get on because I feel like mid-20s, that's what people are on." The singer said he's "on a bunch" of dating apps, and he met his last girlfriend on Tinder. "Someone told me to get on his one called Feeld, and I was like, 'Cool, it's another dating app, whatever.' And I go on it, and it's like so sexual," he explained. "And I'm like, 'This is way beyond anything I'm tuned in for."

Being Famous Can Sometimes Complicate Meeting New People

Capaldi added, "If I met the right person, I'd be buzzed," he said. "But right now it's a bit unfair with the other person, they'd have to be quite an understanding human being." When asked if being famous gives him trust issues that people are going for him the wrong reasons when meeting someone new, Capaldi said, "yeah, totally." He further explained that "more girls are interested in me now than there were a couple of years ago." "People feel like they know you, they see your personality, and how you make them laugh," he said.

Capaldi Was Recently Diagnosed With Tourette's Syndrome

Earlier this month, PEOPLE reported that Capaldi revealed he was diagnosed with Tourette's syndrome on Instagram Live. He explained that he's always had it despite not knowing what it was, and also said his shoulder twitches because of it. "The worst thing about it is when I'm excited I get it, when I'm stressed I get it, when I'm happy I get it. It happens all the time," he explained. "Some days it's more painful than others, and some days it's less painful. It looks a lot worse than it is. Sometimes it's quite uncomfortable, but it comes and goes." He also told his followers that he originally thought he had "some horrible degenerative disease," and that being diagnosed "makes so much sense" after he noticed the twitching in old interviews from years ago.

Capaldi decided to speak out about the disorder because he doesn't want people to think that he's "taking cocaine." "I do the shoulder twitch quite a lot. And you see underneath every TikTok and stuff, people are like, 'Why is he twitching?' which is fine," he said. "Curiosity is fine. I get it. It's a new thing, I haven't really learned much about it - I'm learning. I've got Botox on my shoulder to stop it moving. It worked for a bit."
