Back in January 2020, Rob Kardashian filed for emergency custody of his daughter with Blac Chyna. Details of the custody battle between the Kardashian son and Blac Chyna surfaced as the couple fought over their three-year-old, Dream Kardashian.
In the original complaint, Rob requested to scale down on his 50/50 joint custody agreement with Black Chyna – updating the agreement for her to only have their daughter on weekends with supervised help. This came as a shock to fans, given the fact that the two publically vowed to co-parent.
According to Rob, the famous model-stylist turned entrepreneur was creating a dangerous environment for the innocent Dream. His largest claim was that Black Chyna, legally known as Angela Renée White, spent excessive income on alcohol with a monthly average of $600 for the expense.
Aside from the alcohol purchases and consumption, the Kardashian also claimed that his estranged partner was ‘prone to violent outburst’ and explicit sexual behavior in front of their child. This has resulted in changes in behavior with Dream as well.
It has been reported by Rob that Dream has acted out by cursing in very public settings, including her toddler-level gymnastics class, and that the three-year-old is “twerking” – a behavior that could have only been learned from Blac Chyna.
Fans are split on who to believe and there is some speculation that the Kardashian-Jenner family may be trying to gain custody for reasons beyond the environment or safety concerns. However, we must not forget that Black Chyna has a history of assault allegations and unpaid rent claims.
BUT! We must also remember that drama and controversy follow the Kardashians as well. Rob has had varying health struggles over the years, including his unexplained extreme weight gain in 2016 accompanied by some very odd, manic behavior.
Claims aside, the courts have denied Rob Kardashian of primary custody and Blac Chyna’s lawyer says she will continue to fight him and his family. The defense also suggests that the request may have been an attempt to undermine Blac Chyna as a single mother with no support from Rob or his family.
At the beginning of their split, Rob was paying Chyna $20k per month in support. Though she previously said that this was a mutual decision, in an interview on V-103 she admitted that she gets no child support from neither Rob nor Tyga, who is the father of her other child. When asked why her response was simply, “ask the courts”.
Though Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian are continuing their multi-year feud, Dream Kardashian is still present on the vast social media and lifestyle blog of the entire Kardashian family.
