Imagine Dragons Frontman Dan Reynolds Announces Split From Wife Again

Singer Dan Reynolds, the frontman of the rock band Imagine Dragons, just announced his split from his wife, Aja Volkman. The artist and Volkman married in 2011 and welcomed their first child a year later.
They had two more children before announcing they ended their marriage in 2018. Less than a year after the announcement, Volkman disclosed that they were currently on the path to reconciliation and rebuilding their relationship. The duo had another child shortly after.
Despite the couple's apparent efforts to work on their marriage, Reynolds recently announced that they had separated, to the despair of fans. The Imagine Dragons frontman also revealed their intention to continue to raise their four children together.

Dan Reynolds And Aja Volkman Have Separated
On September 16, Reynolds took to Twitter to announce that he and his wife of 11 years, Volkman, had separated. The 35-year-old revealed that despite the decision, the duo would ensure they remain good parents to their four children. The post read, "I am saddened to say that after many beautiful years together, Aja and I have separated."

The "Follow You" artist concluded, "Being great parents to our children is our number one priority. Thank you for always supporting us with love and care for all these years."
Several posts from concerned fans flooded Reynolds' comment section, sending their condolences to the former couple. A follower wrote, "This is heartbreaking. I'm so sorry to hear that. Sending love and strength to you and also to Aja." A number of other fans expressed their sadness that despite the couple's attempts to make things work, their marriage couldn't make it.
Dan Reynolds And Aja Volkman Split In 2018
Reynolds made a similar post in 2018 when the former couple announced their split for the first time. He also went on to ask that the family's privacy be respected. He wrote, "After 7 beautiful years together, Aja and I's marriage has come to an end. Our children continue to be the most important thing in our lives, & we will continue to co-parent them with all our love."
Reynolds added in a follow-up tweet, "I ask that you please respect our privacy at this time as we work through this as a family." Since tying the knot in 2011, the duo welcomed three children into their home.
Reynolds and Volkman had their fourth child in 2019 after reconciling their marriage. Eight months after the initial separation was announced, Volkman revealed that the couple was attempting to rebuild their relationship with each other.
The Ex-Couple Once Previously Reconciled
Volkman shared a photo of the family in January 2019 and revealed that despite "killing" each other last year, the couple was ready to put their relationship in order once more. The 42-year-old wrote, "I'm proud of you @danreynolds I'm proud of your humility and ability to still show up as the basketball coaching baby loving Dad that you are."

"I know that it's been a crazy road. It's killed us both in so many moments. Last year we killed each other, and now we are rebuilding."
Volkman went on to assure Reynolds that regardless of the behavior displayed "in the eye of a giant storm," it was temporary and the only way to become better and more mature. "That's what we have done. And now. Honesty. That's all we need. Continue to rip the bandaid off, baby. I'll do it with you. I'll walk right through it and love every minute," she concluded.
Dan Reynolds Proposed To Aja Volkman Twice!
After welcoming their son, Valentine, in October 2019, Reynolds reportedly proposed to Volkman a second time in December that year. The 42-year-old announced the reproposal via her Instagram account with a picture of herself wearing the diamond engagement ring.

In the lengthy caption, Volkman revealed that before Reynolds, she had never "caused so much hurt or been so hurt by another human in my life." She'd added that despite trying to be there for each other while going through life trials, their relationship eventually started to crumble.
She added, "We didn't need the words. We were both forgiven. He got on one knee, and before he could open his mouth, I began to cry. Loaded tears that held nearly 10 years of growth. The answer has always been yes."
