Fifth Harmony was a all girl band who originated from Miami, Florida. The group of girls were formed on the show X Factor in 2012 where they earned their popularity. Lauren Jauregui, Dinah-Jane Hansen, Ally Brooke, Normani, and Camila Cabello were all members of Fifth Harmony. Cabello decided to part ways from her group members after 4 years in 2016. She wished to start her solo career and did exactly that. Of course, news of her separation turned heads and shocked their fans.

As Camila ventured off into her solo career fans wondered how she would do after leaving Fifth Harmony. Cabello amazed her fans when she had released the song Havana with the rapper Young Thug. The hit song earned them the number one spot on Billboard Hot 100. The song and music video had captivated the masses and her fans may have believed that her starting her solo career was the best decision she had made. The former Fifth Harmony member was only getting started.

Within the past year Camila has been linked to Canadian singer Shawn Mendes. The pair had met and became friends early on her her career while she was still a member of Fifth Harmony. Cabello and Mendes has remained friends throughout the years and did not form a relationship right away. The duo had released the song Senorita in June of 2019 together that seemed to have painted a vivid picture of the two singers. Camila had been in a relationship for over a year but shortly after the song released, Cabello had split from her ex Matthew Hussey.

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello had remained friends throughout the beginning of their careers. Mendes had claimed that Cabello had "swerve" on him when he would shoot his shot at her. However, several years have past and the two finally labeled themselves as a couple. The news certainly broken some young fans hearts but others fell in love with the couples relationship. Normani had felt that the two was a part of a sisterhood but due to the lack of communication and responsibility. She also spoke about giving people the ability to grow. It is completely acceptable for Normani to speak out and make her voice her feelings for herself and for masses who were affected by the singer's comments.
