Love can indeed be full of surprises!

This idea can definitely be applied to "Love Is Blind: After The Altar," the three-episode long reunion for the second season cast of Netflix's mega-successful (and extremely addicting!) reality series "Love Is Blind."

It may be a giant understatement to say the second season's cast members have been followed by a never-ending cycle of drama since viewers met these now famous faces in February of 2022.

Couples struggled, couples split, and there was a certain notable individual who perhaps soon became known for certain questionable personality aspects to name a few, in season two!

"Love Is Blind: After The Altar" gave viewers the opportunity to catch up with the cast for better or worse a year after going through some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.

For Iyanna McNeely and Jarrette Jones, the road to wedded bliss that the couple embarked on after tying the knot, contained unexpected twists and turns.

What Happened Between The Duo?

After meeting and connecting in the pods, the couple eventually got engaged despite having extremely opposite personalities and in McNeely's case, experiencing doubtful moments related to trust, notably surrounding Jones' past pod-era relationship with Mallory Zapata.

The duo ultimately tied the knot and attempted to fuse their lives together off camera in the real world.

Sadly, Jones and McNeely announced they had decided to end their marriage, a surprising moment for "Love Is Blind" fans! The news of their split broke almost a month to the day of the "Love Is Blind: After The Altar" premiere.

Viewers were given some insight into the last days of their marriage during the three episodes and the now-former couple is aware fans have some questions.

What Did Jones Have To Say?

Jones' interview was full of vulnerable moments. He candidly opened up about the extremely quick pace at which the couple met, fell in love, and got married, and some of the lessons he learned during their marriage, and discussed his feelings surrounding their divorce.

Jones kept it real with "We Are The Brand" host Frankie Fabre when he discussed the accelerated pace at which he and McNeely went through and attempted to learn lessons around falling in love which couples typically have years to learn.

He explained, "We got married in seven weeks," and went on to elaborate more on the "Love Is Blind" experience.

"We were in a 'pressure cook' environment of an experiment, Jones continued, "and we had to decide... first and foremost, it was always our choice to either, to even get engaged and follow through it and get married."

Jones vulnerably went on to detail how he believed "A fool would sit here and tell you you're ready to get engaged and married in seven weeks. A fool. But if there is enough there for you to be, 'you know I want to take this leap of faith, something is pulling me toward this person, I'll take this chance. It can either be successful or, in my case, it can not be successful."

Jones Learns Vulnerable Lessons In Healing

Appearing on the "We Are The Brand" podcast hasn't been the first instance that the "Love Is Blind" star has navigated through lessons related to healing.

Last month The Blast covered Jones' Insta-documented vacation to Costa Rica, which McNeely vocally and happily supported! In the Instagram photo caption from Jones' trip he wrote, "In a world of opinions, I have everything to be thankful for!"

McNeely echoed by supportively commenting, "That's right. Live your life," she wrote and included hand-clapping emojis!

He also posted some helpful healing-related tips on his Instagram story and added "somebody needed to see this" at the end of the list.

The three episodes of "Love Is Blind: After The Altar" are now available to stream on Netflix!
