Selma Blair has been in the fight of her life, but appeared to be getting some much-needed joy while out strolling around with a friend. The "Cruel Intentions" star was seen Thursday in Studio City after catching lunch with a friend, and the actress could barely hide her giddiness while hitting the street.

The 47-year-old has continued to let her natural grays grow atop her head, which was perfectly accented by her outfit of a black top with a billowy white skirt that was adorned with black stitching around the waist.

Regularly needing the assistance of a cane while walking in public over the past year, Blair was completely mobile on her own and did not appear to need any help while saying goodbye to her friend and heading to her car.

Blair has been very open with fans about her battle with Multiple Sclerosis, which was diagnosed back in 2018. She has described that she endures good days and bad days, and is learning different methods of dealing with each.

"Dealing with pain and fatigue to get through an average day is another part of living with [multiple sclerosis] attacks," the actress wrote on Instagram.

She added, "Things I used to enjoy back when my body was still taking directions from me feel like they take a special kind of inner strength for me to smile through now ... There are days when my skin is on fire and the last thing I want is to be at an event."

One of the sources of strength Selma Blair has drawn from is her close circle of friends, who have been by her side since she was diagnosed with MS. Most recently, Blair was visited by her "Cruel Intentions" family, including Sarah Michelle Gellar and director Roger Kumble.

She wrote about the visit afterward, making it clear how much it means to have the love from those around during her health battle.

"I can’t show how good it feels to have my friends come and bring lunch and news of the world. So I will just share the standard happy selfies. With love," Blair wrote on social media.

One thing Blair has been able to hold onto during her battle with MS, is her self-deprecating sense of humor. The actress has not been above sharing funny photos and trying to find the lighter side of whatever is thrown her way. Most recently, she critiqued her own fashion as being compared to that of Justin Bieber... and she's totally ok with it.

"I consider myself kinda girly. Whatever that means. I like pink. And high heels. And sexy underwear. But there is seldom any evidence of this," Blair admitted on Instagram.

She continued, "I wear boys underwear. Boys clothes. Boys hats now even. I guess I love my boyfriend and my son so much , I like dressing just like them. I really can’t figure it out. I want to wear gowns! At home! Everywhere. Instead , my friend told me I am always channeling [Justin Bieber.] She said she is here for it."
