Pete Davidson certainly didn’t hold back when he addressed his split from Ariana Grande in his Netflix special by making some comments which left some of her fans furious.
The comedian, who was briefly engaged to the “7 Rings” hitmaker, mentioned how he felt ready to talk about their breakup after keeping quiet for so long.
He joked that Ariana has a much wider platform than him, but his point will come across nonetheless. “She has her songs and stuff and this is what I have,” Davidson said, referring to his comedy special.

“You’re like, ‘Pete, this isn’t fair. You’re airing out dirty laundry. How could you do that? Where did she say this stuff? To her friends in the confidence of her own home?’ No, she said it on the cover of Vogue magazine.”
He then went on to claim that Ariana spray-painted herself brown and spoke negatively about him when she covered Vogue magazine in July 2019.
It was no secret that the former couple didn’t end their relationship on good terms, but Pete didn’t expect the 26-year-old to publicly bash him to her millions of impressionable fans.

“Can you imagine if I did that? My career would be over tomorrow if I spray-painted myself brown and hopped on the cover of Vogue magazine and just started sh*tting on my ex.”
According to Hollywood Life, Ariana has seen bits of Pete’s special where he talks about their relationship, but sources say that she’s not going to issue a response because she simply doesn’t care anymore.
The pop star is said to be in such a healthy mindset now that she has a little time off, having recently been spotted enjoying a fun-filled trip to Disneyland with her closest friends.

“Ariana is unbothered by Pete’s jokes, she’s not paying attention,” a source exclusively told the site.
“She is working on new music so she could easily slip something into a song but as of now it’s not really impacting her so it’s not likely it will make it into her music.
“Right now she’s in a really good headspace and really isn’t interested in any kind of negativity. She’s enjoying life and focusing on all the great stuff in her life.”

Ariana Grande feels she’s already said everything she wanted about her split with Pete Davidson, and given that it’s been well over a year since they parted ways, she’s happily moving on.
On December 22, the “Break Free” songstress concluded her Sweetener World Tour in Inglewood, California at The Forum after a successful run that included three legs.
And from the 101 shows, Grande pulled in an impressive $146.6 million worldwide, making it one of the best-selling tours for a female artist in the past decade.
