McCain Quit Being A Co-host On 'The View' & Her Daughter Played A Role

Back in October, McCain made headlines after she shed more light on her decision to say goodbye to "The View" after four seasons. McCain broke the news that she was leaving in July, saying, "So I am just going to rip the Band-Aid off. I am here to tell all of you, my wonderful co-hosts and the viewers at home, that this is going to be my last season here at 'The View.'"

McCain admitted that she was "having a lot more fun" as she hasn't been talking about politics so much. Explaining her drama with "The View" team, "I am actually a pretty sensitive person, and there are people you love to hate, but it felt like towards my last season it just became ‘We hate to hate her.' I did feel a shift in my last season that there was no love coming from the audience, and that was a factor in why I left."

As for if she would ever allow her daughter to walk in her footsteps, the political commentator raised an alarm, saying, "I would chain her to my car and say ‘Nooo!' I would kill her. I want her to do anything except what we do. I don’t want her to do anything in television."
