Craig Conover And Naomie Olindo Got Into An Argument
Conover and his ex Olindo recently disagreed during the “Southern Charm” episode that aired on Thursday. The entire heated exchange took place at the Mullet Bay restaurant located in St. Simons Island, Georgia. At the time, Conover, Olindo, Venita Aspen, and Austen were all having dinner together.
People Magazine reported that after the reality stars placed their order for food and two rounds of shots, Olindo admonished the group about their treatment of the waitress and urged them to be better. The 30-year-old said, “You guys have to be better about acknowledging waitresses because everyone’s having their own conversations, and it’s probably making her uncomfortable.”
Seemingly offended by the comment, Conover asked the reality star if she had previously worked in the food and beverage industry. Olindo responded, “All I’m saying is, we should acknowledge her because clearly, it’s like a big group.” Conover, who previously worked as a bartender for seven years, then accused Olindo of cautioning them with no prior experience in the industry.
He Told Her To Move On With Her ‘F–king Life’
After the former couple’s mini fight at the table, the 33-year-old left the group to join some people sitting at the bar to take a shot. According to People, Conover rejoined his friends not long after but found them in a less accommodating mood than he left them. When he asked why Olindo confronted him about an alleged rumor he spread about her.
The 30-year-old claimed that Leva Bonaparte told her Conover “said really mean things about me at the Friendsgiving,” one of which was that she was a “crazy ex-girlfriend.” The 33-year-old, however, denied the accusations and told Olindo to move on with her life. “Just stop,” Conover yelled. “Please move on with your f—ing life. Seriously.” The reality star left the table immediately after.
Craig Conover And Naomie Olindo Started Dating In 2014
The former couple started seeing each other in 2014 and dated till September 2017, when they called it quits. They initially met each other in college when Conover was on his way to graduating, and Olindo had just started her studies. The lawyer later revealed that despite them not being involved romantically at the time, he was interested in her.
In 2016 Conover said to “The Daily Dish, “I knew with Naomie that if there was ever any girl I was going to date, it was going to be her.” The duo met up a while later, and fans witnessed their various times together, including when they moved in with each other until they parted ways.
The lawyer joined “The Daily Dish” again in 2018 when they broke up, revealing that they tried to work things out but ultimately couldn’t. “Naomie and I, we had the best of intentions,” Conover said. “We were trying to work it out, but after a while, we had to accept reality, and I wished things were different. I think we both did.”
Craig Conover Said It Wasn’t Normal Working With His Ex
“Southern Charm” season eight saw Olindo rejoin the cast and the former lovebird reunite briefly for a post-breakup hookup. Conover also notably told Page Six that he didn’t think season eight was a great experience for him, and viewers would see him and Olindo disagree on a number of occasions.
“It’s not normal to hang out with your ex as much as you do when we’re doing these projects,” Conover said. “You’ll get to see me and Naomie butt heads.” He also revealed that when Olindo rejoined the series, he was fairly accommodating to her, but his attitude changed after discovering that he would see her more frequently than expected.
“I was very welcoming, like, ‘Come on back! Screw it; the fans would love to see you,” Conover recalled. “And then, you know, I don’t have a lot of patience for her, which is something that you’ll get to see. But I’m just like, yeah, there’s a reason we’re exes. And now we’re together all the time.”
