Wait! Is 'The Man' Scott Disick or Taylor Swift?

Okay, when we saw the music video for 'The Man' we had to watch it more than once to see something. That something is that the man in the video looks a lot like Scott Disick.

That is right. We looked and at first, we were thinking that the man was Scott himself. As it turns out that was Taylor Swift under that beard and makeup. We were really shocked because we could have sworn that was Scott Disick playing the role. It looks just like him!

So we know that it wasn't him. We are pretty shocked still. But, still, we have to think that Scott was the main inspiration of the man in the video. Maybe not the dad we know but still we get those vibes from the video.

Taking a look at the early days of the show Keeping Up With The Kardashians we got to see the style of Scott. He had the dark shades, the loose tops, the gold chains, and the loafers. It screamed Scott.

Those early days mimick the video really well. Mostly the scene with bikini-clad ladies on a yacht with Talyor walking around them. The gold bikini's on the white towels with the man on the phone with his pick of women around him. That gives us major Scott vibes from the early days.

We are talking this is peak Lord Disick right here. It just screams it for us. How we could see him doing the exact same thing with Kortney as one of the bikini girls.

“I LOVE the new Taylor Swift video for The Man, but I also cannot stop thinking it’s Scott Disick,” a fan wrote on Twitter. Oh, we can see it fan. We agree too. We were thinking that was who it was for sure.

The best part though is some fans also thought it could have been Jake Gyllenhaal or even Jason Ritter. Which we can see Jake for sure. The funniest thing though is the man is actually voiced by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

We love the video so much. This is to say this isn't a criticism of Scott Disick though. No, this is a call out to the double standards of the world. If a woman were to do anything in the video the man did she would have been shut down. She would have been called out. Not a man though.

Talyor has done a wonderful job of calling out the world in her music recently. We hope she keeps it up. Following her album Lover we can't wait to see more from her with her music.
