The problem with this season of Survivor is that everyone who gets voted off feels like a huge loss. This is cast of all winners and all fan favorites. Every time someone goes home, a lot of people are going to be sad because each person has their own fan base.
However, it seems like the Survivor community was more than just a little sad about the contestant eliminated last night.

All Survivor episodes are pretty good, but the ones with blindsides are definitely the most interesting. We’re always hanging on the edge of our seats wondering if it’s going to pan out and work the way they hoped it would.
In the cast of last night, it definitely worked out. Michele and Jeremy teamed up to take down one of the bigger players in the game, Rob Mariano. Except, taking him out now would be too difficult. Instead, they aimed to weaken him.
After losing their third immunity challenge (get it together Sele!), Adam thought it might be a good idea to try to blindside Parvati. He approached his own allies, and for some reason, told Ethan and Rob about the idea as well. Ethan, Rob, and Parvati are all in alliance, so this was clearly a bad move.
Rob saw an opportunity and went to Michele and Jeremy. He went over his own plan and the three of them agreed to vote out Adam.
While Rob was certain that his plan to get Adam votes off was on its way to success, Michele and Jeremy had other ideas.
With weakening Rob as their goal, they convinced a few of their teammates to take out Ethan instead. With four votes to his name, was the fourth contestant sent to the edge of extinction.
Though, things still don’t look good for Adam, who was the only one to right down Parvati’s name. He might be the next to go if Sele loses another immunity challenge.
Ethan has been one of the biggest fan favorite’s throughout the season, and fans are devastated that he was sent home last night.
One fan tried to explain that “Ethan wasn’t a threat” and that this elimination accomplished nothing. Many fans even uploaded gifs of people crying to show their love for Ethan.
Many also congratulated Michele’s strategy, saying that they were bummed Ethan was gone, but it was an impressive play.
However, with Edge of Extinction it’s always possible that Ethan could return.
