The model who has been in the news lately concerning troubles in her marriage seems to be paying them no mind and looks quite determined to focus on herself and her happiness. Emily Ratajkowski Latest Mirror Selfie Gets Jaws Dropping
The 31-year-old got more tongues wagging after recently sharing a sexy mirror selfie on her Instagram story. Fans of the model are aware that her personal life has been tumultuous of late due to the split from her husband and the father of her son, Sebastian Bear-McClard.
She, however, seems to be refusing to let the separation get her down or upset as she is determined to live her best life moving forward as a single mama. The Instagram story featured the brunette posing in front of a mirror completely topless with her hand across her ample bosom, wearing nothing but black underwear and a pair of knee-high suede cowboy boots.
The following slide, a video, showed the mother-of-one zooming in to show off the boots and her impressive figure in closer detail. Where the model stood seemed like a new living situation since her divorce filing recently. There was an unmade bed behind her, the giant mirror stood against a brick wall, and it seemed like it was beside a fireplace.
Coming on the heels of filing for divorce, the actress has been vocal concerning a couple of controversial topics, one of which is sexism. According to Yahoo, the "My Body" author believes sexism is bad for everyone, including men.
While on stage with Tory Burch at the 10th Annual Forbes Power Women's Summit, she explained that she has always believed sexism is terrible for everyone and "toxic masculinity is a huge issue, and we feel the ramifications of that, but also, men live with that as well." As a mother to a son, she thinks about it a lot, and the conversation needs to reach men.
The "iCarly" guest star went on to share her thought process while she was writing her book a year ago. The book, which she said explored her relationship with men in places of power, made her wonder if they were aware of the dynamics they were participating in. She added:
"I think it's really, really crucial to include men in those conversations, I don't think feminism should be a word that means we're just talking to ourselves."
Previously Ratajkowski told ELLE that although she wanted a daughter initially, she is happy she got a son because he will not experience many of the challenges of womanhood - like being sexualized before being old enough to understand and be aware of it.
The Model Filed For Divorce From Husband, Sebastian Bear-McClard
The duo was first romantically linked after being photographed engaging in a steamy PDA session in 2018. They secretly tied the knot in a ceremony at N.Y.C.'s City Hall after only a few weeks of dating, as reported by The Blast. Fans started speculating that there was trouble in paradise when the 'Welcome Home' actress walked her 1-year-old son Sylvester without her wedding ring.
Page Six confirmed the news of their divorce from court documents detailing that the London-born model had filed in Manhattan Supreme Court. It seems like there are legal issues that are not particularly clear to be sorted out, slowing down the divorce proceedings.
A source disclosed that the reason for separation was infidelity on the part of the film producer. Bear-McClard, whom the insider called a serial cheater, added that his behavior was gross and likened to a dog.
A close friend noted that Emily decided to end things with her ex-husband. Since then, the star has repeatedly acknowledged that the reason for their divorce was infidelity. She has pointed accusatory fingers at the film producer through her subtle reactions to the public's opinion on the case.
