Bill & Melinda Gates' daughter Phoebe Adele Gates is ringing in her new age in style!
When the baby of the Gates family turned 20 on Wednesday, September 14, her family was more than happy to drop birthday tributes in her honor. Front and center of the celebratory posts were those from her father, Bill, and her big sister, Jennifer Catherine Gates. The Stanford University student also treated herself to something nice for the big day.
Phoebe Gates Has Made Her Father & Sister Proud Of Her
In the photos that Bill dumped on Instagram, his 7.4 million followers saw the celebrant happily posing with him when she was a toddler before swiping left to see the business mogul looking dapper in a black suit, matching bow tie, and crisp white shirt.
He appeared to be at a wedding while sitting next to Phoebe, who looked radiant in a green halter-style gown accentuated by her minimal jewelry. The following image showed Phoebe wearing a graduation gown, a flower crown, and a similarly themed neckpiece. The dump also included a sweet picture of little Phoebe sitting in her dad's lap. The 66-year-old captioned the post:
"One of the greatest joys of my life is watching my kids grow into amazing adults. Happy Birthday, @phoebegates. I'm so proud of you."
The Microsoft co-founder's show of love quickly attracted fans who have liked the post almost 80k times. The comment section revealed how much people loved the family as they dropped their birthday wishes and prayers for the celebrant.
Phoebe's sister, Jennifer, had been one of the first people to celebrate her younger sibling turning 20. The eldest Gates child uploaded a complete picture of the celebrant twirling in the green flowy gown on her Instagram Story. The 25-year-old penned, "Happy Birthday to the smart, beautiful, amazing @phoebegates! So proud of you,) across the image.
As for Phoebe herself, she put up two pictures on her Instagram Story to mark the joyous occasion. While the first showed her in a blue outfit and a made-up face, the second featured her and her mother, Melinda, at what appeared to be an event.
The Gates made headlines when Jennifer walked down the aisle with her longtime beau, Nayel Nassar, at the family farm in Westchester County, New York. The venue was transformed into a picturesque floral spectacle by the best hands in the wedding industry.

The Blast shared that the talents who made the ceremony beautiful included Marcy Blum Events — who were in charge of the planning — and HMR Designs' Rishi Patel — who handled the eye-catching floral designs.
Jean Georges and Creative Edge Catering provided meals while celebrity baker Sylvia Weinstock baked the six-layer floral-adorned cake. As for their outfits, Jennifer looked pretty as a picture in a custom-designed Vera Wang long-sleeve ivory gown.
The gown came with hand-appliqué French macrame lace on the sleeves, bodice, and a chapel-length veil. Her groom looked the part in an Armani tux which he paired with a "Lily of the Valley" boutonniere, matching his bride's bouquet. Bill and Melinda looked happy reuniting for their first daughter's wedding day.
Bill Gates Pledges To Give Billions From His Wealth To His Foundation
Earlier this year, The Blast reported that Bill was giving away a chunk of his wealth. Per the article, the father-of-three announced via his blog that he would donate a noticeable amount of his wealth — $20 billion — to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation as revenue.
The philanthropist added that he would also invest a substantial amount towards health care issues that affected those in the United States, such as Alzheimer's disease. Bill noted that even though he was letting go of some sizable funds, he did not see it as a sacrifice.
In fact, the software developer claimed that he felt privileged to have the opportunity to contribute to global issues. In his words, "I enjoy the work, and I believe I have an obligation to return my resources to society in ways that have the greatest impact for improving lives."
The investor has been using his resources to tackle global health, climate change, education, gender equality, food insecurity, and other issues since he and his ex-wife began the foundation in 2000.
