Kaley Cuoco Window Kisses Giant Turtle, Instagram 100% Melts

Kaley Cuoco single-handedly managed to melt Instagram on Tuesday, taking to the platform from New York City's aquarium. The "Big Bang Theory" actress has been out in the Big Apple to shoot her upcoming TV series "The Flight Attendant" – anyone familiar with 34-year-old Kaley will, however, know that animals almost come before humans for her.

Kaley fully admitted in her caption that the Loggerhead turtle she was photographed with doesn't pop its head out too often – it looked like the camera had snapped the duo at the perfect time.

Kaley's photo showed her crouching by a floor-to-ceiling window pane forming the borders of an aquarium tank. On one side of the glass, a beautiful and giant Loggerhead turtle was seen making its way towards Kaley, with the other side showing the sitcom star posing in kiss mode as she looked at the animal.

Kaley appeared in costume for her Cassandra Bowden role on "The Flight Attendant," wearing a long, check-print coat in earth tones, simple jeans, plus red, pointed-toe booties. The star also wore her long blonde hair down as she posed for the adorable shot.

Kaley took to her caption to share more about the moment.

"Amazing shooting location today at the NY Aquarium .. everyone waited all day and night for the famous Loggerhead turtle to make his presence known. As we wrapped, he finally appeared and came down to give me a window kiss. It was kinda the sweetest thing ever and he definitely knew what he was doing ? ( ? @emmamadelineross ) ?," she wrote.

The upbeat vibe definitely contrasts the more-heated animal-related headlines Kaley has made recently – the star near lost her mind earlier this month when The Lancaster Shelter was refusing to release a 15-pound rescue dog it had deemed "aggressive."

Kaley's update proved a hit, racking up over 90,000 likes in eight hours. Fan comments seemed to cover everything, from the adorable turtle and Kaley herself, to her iconic Penny character on "BBT."

"Such a beautiful moment and photo!" one fan wrote.

"Stop that’s soooo cute!" was another comment.

"So beautiful, nature still a wonder," a third added.

Meanwhile, others made inside jokes – "Penny, ri8?" one user wrote, with another writing "knock knock," likely in reference to the famous triple knocking Sheldon Cooper would perform when standing at Penny's door.

Kaley's history with animal rescue services spans years. Together with husband Karl Cook, the star is an adoptive parent to a Pit Bull named Norman, plus a dog named Blueberry – the couple also homes horses.

"I was like, ‘Oh, my God. I’m obsessed with this kind of dog,’” Kaley told LA Times about her Pit Bull.

“I just found them to be so incredible. I realized what great dogs they were, and how horribly they were seen. And I just didn’t want that to happen anymore. So it became a passion," she added.

Just this month, Kaley and Karl adopted a senior rescue dog. They've named him Barney.
