Does Tom Sandoval Think Kristen Doute Is Still Damaged By the End of Their Relationship?

Vanderpump Rules cast member Tom Sandoval appeared on Tuesday night's episode of Watch What Happens Live, where he was questioned about his ex-girlfriend Kristen Doute's struggle to find love during the series' After Show.

During the episode, a caller named Hilary phoned in from Minnesota to ask Sandoval if he felt Doute was continuing to struggle in her relationships because she's still scarred from the way in which their romance came to an end after the second season of Vanderpump Rules years ago.

"Tom, do you think that Kristen keeps having relationship troubles because she's still scarred from your relationship or that she just can't find anyone as good as you?" the caller asked.

“I don’t think that’s the case, no," Sandoval replied. "I think Kristen has definitely moved on," Sandoval replied.

Sandoval and Doute were dating one another when Vanderpump Rules began airing in January 2013 and continued to date and live together until the end of the series' second season in 2014.

Sandoval went on to explain to the caller that while his ex-girlfriend is known to be messy in her relationships, he and the rest of the Vanderpump Rules cast have learned to love her for it.

"You know, Kristen is always a little messy. That’s just the way it is. We appreciate her messiness," he explained.

"I mean, I do now," he added with a laugh.

Since his split from Doute six years ago, Sandoval has been dating Ariana Madix and recently, they purchased their first home together.

Throughout the eighth season of Vanderpump Rules, Doute was seen in a back and forth relationship with her now-ex-boyfriend, Brian Carter, which highly frustrated her friends on the show, including Stassi Schroeder and Katie Maloney, and eventually resulted in the women distancing themselves from her.

While Doute and Carter have since called it quits, Doute and her former besties have still not made up and soon, Doute may be noticeably absent when Schroeder walks down the aisle with fiancé Beau Clark.

After six years of dating, Sandoval and Madix are quite happy with one another and recently got settled into their new home in The Valley area of Los Angeles, which they purchased together in 2019.

While there were online rumors claiming the home actually belonged to Sandoval, Madix shut down those rumors on Twitter earlier this month.

"Tom bought the house," a fan tweeted in regard to their new place.

"He did not. We pay for everything equally," Madix replied.
