NBA Star LeBron James And Wife Savannah Celebrate 9 Years Of Marriage

LeBron James and his wife Savannah are celebrating their love on Instagram on their ninth wedding anniversary. The couple exchanged vows nine years ago but have been together for 21 years, meeting in high school. LeBron posted a photo of the two from their recent Vanity Fair photo shoot on his Instagram Story writing, "Queen. Happy anniversary." He added, "P.S. YOU SO DAMN SEXY! WOW"

Savannah also shared an anniversary post on her Instagram page captioned, "9 years down(21), forever to go!! Cheers to us my love!!?Happy Anniversary!!?#JamesGang" to which LeBron commented, "Cheers ? my QUEEN ??!!! ♾️?" The comment section was filled with loving anniversary wishes and heart and flame emojis to celebrate the occasion.

The couple met in high school when Savannah was 16 and LeBron was 17. In 2018, Savannah told Cleveland Magazine how the couple came to be. After LeBron asked a friend for Savannah's phone number, she decided to get his instead. "“I’m like, ‘Um, nope. I’ll take his number,'" she said. "One day I'm sitting around - I was probably bored or something - and I'm like, 'Oh, I forgot! I have this number for this guy that I can call. He seemed interested, so let's see.'" He invited her to one of his basketball games and then the two hung out with friends after the game. Their first solo date happened a few weeks later and the rest is history.

The couple, who share sons Bronny, 17, Bryce, 15, and daughter Zhuri, 7, recently did a photo shoot for the October edition of Vanity Fair that features the family dressed up at the Los Angeles home. Both Savannah and LeBron posted a photo of the family from the shoot on Instagram. LeBron captioned his post, "There’s King’s and Queen’s/Royalty in America as well and I hope I can be one of the ones who showcase that on a daily basis?????????? James Gang at home!!! The family has been busy as the children grow up and start making their own paths. LeBron is about to start his 20th season in the NBA. Bronny will turn 18 in October and is about to make some decisions on his career. Bryce, like Bronny, is a basketball prospect and will also soon be making some decisions on his future. Zhuri has her own successful YouTube show with 205,000 subscribers called, "All Things Zhuri."

And while everyone is busy doing their own things, Savannah described their home dynamic as "quiet" and said, "Everything isn't for everybody." She continued with, "Excuse my language, but we a dope family."
