It's pretty cool to have Mariah Carey help you make cool TikTok videos but even famous moms screw it up sometimes.
The "Obsessed" singer teamed up with her 8-year-old daughter Monroe, whom she shares with Nick Cannon, for an awesome #highnotechallenge video. Monroe appears to be belting out those ridiculously high notes made famous in mom's song, "Emotions" but Carey reveals herself as the singer at the end.
"Mommy!" Monroe groans before Mariah responds, "What? You said do the high note!" Mother and daughter hilariously storm off in opposite directions as the video comes to a close.

"When your daughter wants to do a #highnotechallenge," Mariah tweeted while sharing the video.
Her tweet was actually a reply to a fan account that recently shared a video of Mariah proving her vocal chops in a 1992 appearance on "MTV Unplugged." "Critics" allegedly began accusing her of losing vocal quality while performing live at the time and her memorable rendition of "Emotions" proved them wrong. Carey sounded great in 1992 and proved she still does in the new high note video.

Monroe and her twin brother, Moroccan have been helping mommy out by singing and appearing in her music videos and projects. This past Christmas, Mariah released a brand new music video for her 1994 classic, "All I Want For Christmas." The twins were featured dancing to the hit song alongside mom. Her kids also made an appearance in her 2017 music video and animated feature both titled, "The Star." Seems like they are following in mommy and daddies footsteps. Don't forget that daddy has bars!

In January, it was announced that Carey will be inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame. She was so excited that she basically shouted her disbelief from her social media mountain top.
“I can’t believe it… The SONGWRITERS HALL OF FAME!!!!” she exclaimed. “This is truly one of the greatest honors of my career.”
“I’m so proud and humbled to be in the company of such legendary songwriters – both previously inducted as well as the incredible class of 2020! ????,” Carey added.
