Chanel West Coast Pops Insane Booty In Tight Pink Pants After Kobe Bryant Backlash

Chanel West Coast just doesn't stop making headlines. The "Sharon Stoned" rapper and "Ridiculousness" star made headlines earlier this month for accusing fans of not giving her enough Instagram likes – more recently, the 31-year-old has raised eyebrows for "exploiting the dead" as she honored deceased basketball player Kobe Bryant in her new "Black Roses" song.

Fans might well argue that the backlash Chanel faced was unfair (and she did clap back), but there likely weren't any complaints from viewers to the rapper's Instagram stories on Tuesday.

Chanel took to her stories earlier today. While early ones showed the MTV face letting cameras inside her home as she showcased her kitchen, closet, and LOL Cartel clothing line while wearing leather shorts, the ante was upped in later videos as Chanel danced around her fluorescent-illuminated bedroom with a fellow music face.

Chanel's video showed her popping her super-curvy and sexy booty in a skin-tight pair of pale pink pants, matching platform heels and a loose tan crop top revealing the rapper's bra underneath. Artist Anaya Lovenote joined Chanel, with West Coast suggesting that the two may be collaborating.

"Working on something fire with @anayalovenote," Chanel wrote as the two danced to music.

Chanel found herself slammed this week as trolls took the star's mention of NBA All-Star player Kobe Bryant out of context. Chanel had referred to the basketball icon after dedicating her new "Black Roses" track to the passing of 41-year-old Kobe. The Los Angeles Lakers player died last month alongside his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven others when their helicopter burst into flames in Calabasas, California.

Chanel was in no mood to tolerate the haters, taking to social media to defend herself.

Chanel responded:

“The song is about showing love to your loved ones before they are gone,” Chanel began, explaining the relevance of her track and the athlete’s untimely death. “It was Kobe’s memorial today and my friend just died as well. This song ain’t about me or you, it’s about spreading LOVE."

"Wake up and get the message," she added.

Chanel also mentioned that she is currently grieving the loss of her childhood friend Nicole Dubos – the rapper recently attended a celebration of life gathering to honor Nicole passing as a result of substance abuse.

Chanel was amid the many celebrities taking to social media to mark the January death of Kobe and his daughter. Chanel did just this on January 26, posting a photo of herself with Bryant.
