Nick Jonas may be the newcomer to "The Voice," but he isn't a little boy anymore. He's married to [Priyanka Chopra],(/114332/amazon-studios-taps-priyanka-chopra-to-play-ma-anand-sheela-seen) and he is there for the music. Chopra was even keen to comment on it when she spoke to Vogue. She said, "I call him Old Man Jonas." The ten-year age difference does not seem to make a difference to either of them. She told People in an interview, "People gave us a lot of sh*t about that and still do, I find it really amazing when you flip it and the guy is older, no one cares and actually people like it."

The couple had two, yes we said two different wedding ceremonies. They wanted to both honor their respective religions and beliefs. On December 1, 2018, a Christian marriage ceremony was held. The next day, December 2, Chopra married Jonas in a Hindu ceremony at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. Everything was quite lavish, as the couple also had various pre-wedding and post-wedding celebrations to commemorate their marriage to each other. The couple then went and honeymooned in the Caribbean.

Chopra sat down with Today and spoke about her husband's new gig as a coach on "The Voice." She was unwaveringly supportive of him. She said, "He knows about music so much. He's literally been a music prodigy since he was 7 years old, so I think it'll be amazing to see him working with new musicians and adding to that." She also said that Jonas is competitive and quipped, "Blake [Shelton], you better watch out." She knows that he is going to be amazing at this.
In it's 18th season, "The Voice" has given us so many amazing performers. The first contestant on this season was Todd Tilghman. He has eight children, and he is a pastor. All four judges spun their chairs around for him, and Tilghman was quick to admit that he had never performed outside of a church before. Jonas was quick to pick up on that, saying, "I’m a PK so I’m actually a pastor’s kid. My most fond memories were with my dad at the piano singing praise and worship songs."
Jonas asked Tilghman, "Do you know Phillips, Craig, and Dean?" Tilghman said that he did, and so Jonas began singing to him. Kelly Clarkson cheered him on. She said to the new coach, "I love that you pulled out Phillips, Craig, and Dean." However, Tilghman thought it was "old school." Clarkson replied to Jonas saying, "I know, but, like I’m a decade older than you." Jonas thought it wasn't a decade, but Clarkson confirmed that it was by pointing out that she herself is 37, while Jonas is only 27.

After Clarkson quipped about the age difference between her and Jonas, he responded by saying, "My wife is 37. It’s cool." The audience erupted into cheers. Tilghman ultimately chose Blake Shelton, as he felt he could relate to him most. Shelton also ribbed Jonas about his age a little bit, saying, "I’m going to have to look through the rules because this is my TV show. I’m not even sure if you’re old enough to be a coach on The Voice, but I’m certain that you’re going to get your butt kicked, buddy."
