Sophie Turner Stuns In Multi-Colored Feather Gown In Return To Red Carpet

Singer Joe Jonas and his wife Sophie Turner recently walked the red carpet for the first time since the couple had their second child. The couple got married in May 2019 during a surprise Las Vegas wedding after the Billboards Music awards and a second time in France.

Turner and Jonas welcomed their second child together in July, two years after giving birth to their first, Willa. Since the baby's birth, the "Game of Thrones" actress has not made an appearance in red carpet events until recently.

To honor her husband's acting debut movie premiere, Turner donned a dazzling feather dress while Jonas wore a black jacket paired with black pants.

Turner just made her first walk down the red carpet since giving birth to her second child with Jonas. Per People magazine, The actress appeared in the movie premiere of the Korean War drama "Devotion," which will feature her husband. The film premiered during the Toronto International Film Festival and saw the couple attend in style.

The "Game of Thrones" star wore a colorful feather sequin dress with no accessories. Turner also styled her red wavy hair with a middle parting and let it pour down for the event. Jonas, the star of the show, had on a stylish black suit with no shirt underneath. The outfit was paired with equally black colored trousers.

"Devotion" is reportedly Jonas' feature film debut and was shot in Georgia. The film also stars Glen Powell and Jonathan Majors; while talking about the movie, the 33-year-old referred to it as a "really special project" and revealed that being able to step in front of the camera for a role different from his usual one as an artist filled a separate need for him.

While talking to People Magazine last month, Jonas shed light on how he managed his two music bands, recent family of three, and budding acting career. He talked about his debut acting role in "Devotion" and described the job as a nice balance to his usual singing career.

The 33-year-old said, "I'm so grateful I have music because I'm able to express my own stories and emotions and things I go through. You're playing someone else when you're on film, and I like that you have to immerse yourself into somebody else's shoes, or at least find that place where you can go… It's a nice balance."

The "Cake by the Ocean" singer also revealed that while on set, he was opportune to work with amazing actors, all of whom challenged him to be better. "[I] got the opportunity to work with some incredible actors who really challenged me, and you want to step up your game because you're like, 'Oh, this is fun, but this is going to be a challenge,' and you want to really respect the art of it," Jonas said. "The story's beautiful, and I can't wait for everyone to see this."

Jonas and Turner's representative informed People Magazine that the couple had welcomed their second child in July. The statement at the time read, "Joe and Sophie are happy to announce the arrival of their baby girl."

The actress was also present in a May interview with Elle UK and confirmed they were expecting another child. During the interview, Turner said, "It's what life is about for me – raising the next generation. The greatest thing in life is seeing my daughter go from strength to strength. We're so excited to be expanding the family. It's the best blessing ever."

The 26-year-old was also present at the 2022 Met Gala, held in New York City, with her baby bump on full display while posing with Jonas. She wore an embroidered Louis Vuitton gown and diamond and white gold earrings of a similar Louis Vuitton origin.

The lovebirds said "I do" in two separate ceremonies, one in Las Vegas and the second a month later in France. The surprise Las Vegas wedding was held at the Chapel L'Amour after the Billboard Music Awards ceremony. The wedding had celebrities like Diplo, Khalid, and several other stars who attended the music awards ceremony.

The couple reportedly made it official earlier when they applied for a marriage license in Clark County, Nevada. For the surprise wedding ceremony, Turner had on a silk jumpsuit paired with a fingertip-length veil, and Jonas wore a gray suit song with the rest of his brothers, who were his groomsmen.

The second wedding was held in a chateau in France and was much larger and well-coordinated than the former. Stars like Priyanka Chopra, the duo's sister-in-law, Ashley Graham, and Maisie Williams, the maid of honor, were in attendance.
