Kate Beckinsale had her legs apart in her latest Instagram update. While fans seeing the 46-year-old's photo may not have initially jumped to a bikini wax conclusion, all was clarified as the "Underworld" star took to her caption.
Kate's photo showed her feet hanging slightly above wooden floors. Glossy painted toenails were seen, as was the view from where Kate was sitting – a home interior with black and white furnishings was fairly busy as two dogs, a cat, and Prive Wax VIP's Riki Bee all appeared before Kate.

Kate's photo further showed her appearing to be watched by the animals present. Kate's two cats are named Willow and Clive – one appeared in Kate's crop top dance video yesterday as the star danced around to Bananarama with her feline. The companionship continues, clearly.
The "Pearl Harbor" actress took to her caption with her usual razor-sharp wit.
"No kidding this bikini wax I just got drew a bigger audience than at least four movies I have done. Also my performance was described as “shattering”, “visceral” and “edge of the seat stuff”. So I’m pleased," she wrote.

Kate can generally be relied on for fan interaction. The star did just this for some of the comments coming in.
"Where's your boyfriend," one user asked.
"That's the pertinent question," the star replied.
Plenty of comments also came in regarding Kate's cat, with one user picking up on the pet's somewhat icy vibe.
"Your cat looks so angry!" they wrote.
"@worthadetour he thought he had a ticket for sonic the hedgehog. Took him a min to switch gears," Kate amusingly replied.
The update also proved popular overall, racking up over 80,000 likes in four hours. Not quite the engagement seen with the 1 million+ views to Kate dancing in yoga pants with her cat, but definitely not unnoticed.

Kate's cat does, indeed, seem to be somewhat of a social media sensation. The Bananarama video of Kate's pet follows one that came accompanied by Gwen Stefani's "Hollaback Girl," with Kate herself admitting to James Corden that she needed help from "The Cat Daddy" when it came to her pet's unusual nature.
Speaking to "The Late Late Show" host, Kate said:
“I inherited a cat from a friend of mine, didn’t ask too many questions at the time about why she was giving it to me. Now I know why! You know when there’s a dead body on the sidewalk and they spray around it… Sometimes when I’m asleep she does it to me…but with s–t."
“I woke up and there was a ring of fire. Like a sort of Harry Potter protective shield," she added.

October 2019 saw areas of Los Angeles under mandatory evacuation as fires swamped the region. Kate was forced to leave her home, taking her cats with her as kind neighbors took them in.
"We are safe. Thank you so much to everyone who checked in," she wrote on social media, adding:
"Sending love and hope to everyone else who walked out of their house at 3 am to this, love and admiration to the @losangelesfiredepartment and most of all to David and Dorothy who didn’t need to remember in the middle of the night that I can’t drive but did. And to everyone who has offered me a place to stay despite my rolling with four animals including an epileptic cat. Angel people. So grateful x."
