Singer Britney Spears shared a message to her two teenage boys on Sunday night in a since-deleted Instagram post.
The “Oops!…I Did It Again” singer was married to former backup dancer Kevin Federline from 2004 to 2007. They share two teenage sons: Jayden James and Sean Preston.
In a recent interview, K-Fed alleged that Britney hasn't seen her two sons in months as they cut off contact with her. Britney has since been pretty vocal on social media about her relationship with her sons, including in a deleted post where she admitted that she is "angry" that they've seemingly severed their relationship with her.
Britney Spears Tells Her Sons 'I'm Not Willing To See You Until I Feel Valued'
In a deleted Instagram post on Sunday night, the "Toxic" singer, 40, responded to claims that she is seeking "attention" with her increasingly NSFW Instagram posts (via PEOPLE).
Britney admitted "I'm angry" but added that she does "want to be heard" by her family. That being said, she told her sons, "I'm afraid to inform you guys, I'm not willing to see you until I feel valued."
The "Gimme More" singer confessed that she feels "desperate" and "pathetic" for trying to be involved in their lives when they shut her out. She told her sons that she "was desperate to see you guys" but ultimately came to the conclusion that "honestly, I should have valued myself way more."
Despite her comments, she then apologized to her children, saying, "All I know is my love for my children is more than anything and I'm sorry if I ever hurt you guys in any way." Although she said she was "told you guys blocked me," she added, "Jayden and Preston, I adore you."
She even mentioned a punching bag that she reportedly gave them as a gift, telling them that they were "unbelievable in the gym" and "skilled in everything you do." Britney said, "I'm so blessed to even call you mine," adding, "I just want you to know."
Britney's Son Jayden Discusses Her Social Media Use In Candid Interview
In an interview with The Daily Mail, Jayden said that both he and his brother Preston, who did not appear during the interview, felt conflicted over Britney's use of social media. Britney hasn't been shy about showing off her body in topless and nude snaps, which has drawn controversy between family and fans alike.
However, it's not just topless photos that have been the cause for concern. Apparently, Preston, who turns 17 on Wednesday, had "asked my mother not to post his photos, and she did it anyway. So it didn't go well."
During the interview, Jayden said that "social media helps her… So if that's what she wants to do, that's what she wants to do. I'm not going to hate her for that." However, he felt social media might be getting in the way of their relationship with her. "At the same time, she should come to the realization of whatever it is that stops her from loving her family," he added.
"It's almost like she has to post something on Instagram to get some attention," Jayden continued. "This has gone on for years and years and years and there's a high chance that this will never stop, but I'm hoping for me that she will stop."
Britney Spears Tells Her Father To Kiss Her A-- Alongside NSFW Snap
Elsewhere on Sunday night, the "Stronger" singer had a harsh message for her father. After telling her parents that she prays that they both "burn in hell" for what they did to her during her conservatorship, Britney then followed up her comments with an NSFW snap showing her lower half covered with a red heart emoji.
"you think I’m being silly you try being up there and feeling like that … anyways … anyways … I’m pretty traumatized for life and yes I’m pissed as f--- and no I won’t probably perform again just because I’m stubborn and I will make my point …" she wrote.
At the end of her post, she added, "Psss … and father the beautiful picture you guys put up of me in New York City for Pepsi making me cry looking 80 years old … see this picture right here … kiss my God d--- mother f---ing a-- you fucking b------ 🍑."
