Drew Barrymore's first daughter, Olive, is walking in her mother's laudable steps of creativity, not in the entertainment industry but in the fashion world!

Olive was born in 2012 to Barrymore and art consultant Will Kopelman, who tied the knot in the same year. She also has a second daughter from the same union, Frankie, born in 2014. In a recent interview at the 2022 Harper's Bazaar Icons Party, the mother-of-two could not help but gush about Olive's budding prowess in fashion while also dishing a few updates on Frankie's admirable interests.

Barrymore believes her baby girl is a natural fashion designer, and she called her "a total Edie Beale" in likeness to the late prominent multi-faceted socialite. The proud mother gushed to PEOPLE:

"[Olive] constructs amazing things and is really, has great ingenuity when it comes to like tailoring clothes."

She added, "I have two forms, that I just have that buckets and baskets and fabrics, and then they can just make dresses on the forms." Barrymore has been testing some of her daughter's works over the years, although the promising designer has not yet made anything her mama has worn at a carpet event.

Olive seems not to be only fascinated by the fashion industry, but as her mother revealed, she is also "obsessed" with the Glow Recipe skincare brand. The SAG Award winner explained that she constantly told the nine-year-old that she was still too young for the products as they were "too active." But, the little girl "just wants to wear it and play with it."

Olive admittedly loves the packaging of the skincare brand and "already wants the fun of it;" however, her mom wants her to take it "slowly" and use some less-potent products like Neutrogena or Cetaphil. As for Barrymore's other daughter Frankie, she has an interest in collecting makeup and was described as an organized type who puts everything in its perfect places.

In the 47-year-old's words, "[Frankie] has something in her that's so admirable. She has incredible systems. Everything's in its place. I marvel at her." Attending the Icons Party, held at Bloomingdale's over the weekend, was pretty exciting for Barrymore as she got to leave the house and play dress-up for the period.

While she still wore her sweatpants whenever she was not working and possibly all through the pandemic, she admitted that it felt good to celebrate again, making the most of her fashion trait.

As a single mother co-parenting two kids with her ex-husband, the Golden Globe Award winner experienced a few challenges alongside some advantages, which she previously opened up about. The Blast shared that Barrymore explained that she misses her kids whenever they are apart "because that wasn't the plan." She also said regarding the upside of co-parenting, "Both parents get a day off."

Despite the hurdles, parenting has been quite exciting as she gushed about her "parenting win" where she got Olive to "load and unload the dishwasher." However, she also revealed a then-recent "parenting miss," admitting to getting distraught when her first child tried to tell her how to drive.

The "Little Girl Lost" Author Slammed For Possibly Imitating Black Americans' Trend

Late last month, Barrymore was accused of being racist after posting a clip of herself having fun in the rain and advising her fans to do the same sometimes. As The Blast reported, she made a similar post back in May; also, in a past interview, she explained that she relished being in the rain because it made her feel unburdened for the period without worrying about anything.

A TikTok user, however, believed her video was racist to black content creators as she noted that the "Poison Ivy" actress knowingly copied a trend started by Black Americans named "black men frolicking." The critic also accused her of acting like a "colonizer" and stated that the update would unlock more disrespect to black creators.
