It’s finally here. Better Call Saul season five has premiered. But, that’s not actually the case for everybody. If you don’t have access to AMC’s channel on your television, then you are going to have to wait a little longer. You may even have to wait quite a while longer.
Netflix has a history of premiering their contracted shows significantly later than each show’s cable air time. And, Better Call Saul is no different.
If you want to watch the new season on Netflix, then you are going to have to wait.
Better Call Saul first started as a spinoff show to Vince Gilligan’s original AMC drama Breaking Bad. After five seasons, Breaking Bad ultimately finished its run.
Having grown into a wildly successful popular culture phenomenon, the demand for new Breaking Bad did not slow down simply because the show reached its finale. Fans wanted more.
Well, Better Call Saul quickly emerged as a prequel story featuring the adventures of crooked lawyer Saul Goodman. Now Better Call Saul has rivaled its source material by reaching its own fifth season.
Fans of Better Call Saul are in luck. The show’s fifth season is now underway.
Just like its predecessor, Better Call Saul airs live on the AMC channel episodically. Consequently, you will have to catch each episode week by week.
The first episode of the new season premiered on Sunday, Feb. 23 at 10 p.m. ET. Each of the season’s 10 episodes will air weekly, ultimately finishing on April 20, 2020.
That being said, Netflix subscribers are going to have to wait a bit longer to watch the new season. Depending on where you live, that wait could be quite lengthy.
Netflix subscribers outside of Canada and the United States will get the new season of Better Call Saul significantly faster. In fact, Netflix users within the United Kingdom, mainland Europe, Latin America and Asian regions will get the show only one day later than AMC watchers.
You will, however, still have to wait for each episode to release on a weekly basis. Check out the Netflix release dates for each episode down below.

If you are a Netflix subscriber within the United States, Canada South Africa and Spain, however, you are going to have to wait significantly longer to watch the fifth season of Better Call Saul.
Season four of Better Call Saul only recently made its way to Netflix in these areas. Consequently, season five of the show will likely not make its way to the massive streaming platform until closer to the confirmed sixth and final season premiere.
Consequently, Better Call Saul fans can expect season five to be on Netflix within these regions during sometime in early 2021.
