Wells Adams Shares Sweet Message About Sarah Hyland After 'Modern Family' Wraps Filming

Acclaimed TV show Modern Family is coming to an end, and filming for the show officially wrapped just a few days ago. One of the show's stars, Sarah Hyland, received a sweet shout-out from fiance Wells Adams. The star took to Instagram to share a picture of him and Sarah from the Modern Family wrap party to congratulate his soon-to-be wife on her success. Check out his sweet message to Sarah and all of her talented co-stars after over a decade's work on the show!

"The Modern Family wrap party has great lighting and smoking hot cast members," Wells begins his caption, alongside an image of him and Sarah posing at the party. "Constantly amazed by you @sarahhyland. For over a decade you brought so much joy, laughter, tears, and heart to people everywhere. The world is a better place because of the work you and your wonderful cast and crew put in over the last 11 years. Proud to know ya kid," he rounded out the post with. How sweet!

Of course, Sarah posted pictures of her own from the big night. Alongside an image of her posing with co-star Ariel Winter, Sarah posted a touching tribute to the people she's filmed with the past 11 years. "I love these people with all my heart," she begins. "11 years together is proof you and your tv sister will start wearing the same outfit, siblings for life will be made, and you'll forever fight over the same professor. We'll always be Dunphys and we'll always have each other," Sarah concludes in her heartwarming tribute to her cast members.

Of course, there was a bit of drama going into this 11th and final season of Modern Family. At the end of season 10, Sarah's character, Haley, gives birth to twins. However, as season 11 began, fans noticed that Haley was absent from the first few episodes. When someone tweeted at Sarah about it, she replied "Apparently I've been busy with the twins," prompting further speculation that Sarah was being intentionally being written out of the show after being such an important character for so long.

In a later episode, Haley's grandfather dies, but the character was notably no where to be seen at the funeral. Sarah even acknowledged that she was "caught off-guard" about her character not being at her own grandfather's funeral and that she "doesn't read the scripts" that she isn't in, so she didn't even know about his death going in. Regardless of if there was any drama behind the set, Sarah is obviously very grateful to be a part of Modern Family, and fiance Wells Adams couldn't be prouder of the young star, too!
