"In celebrating the life of my grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen—and in mourning her loss—we are all reminded of the guiding compass she was to so many in her commitment to service and duty," Harry began his statement. He continued, stating that Queen Elizabeth II was "globally admired and respected."

Harry praised the Queen's "unwavering grace and dignity," which was evident throughout her life and even now in her passing. The fourth grandson of the beloved monarch then urged fans of the Royal family to "echo the words she spoke after the passing of her husband, Prince Philip, words which can bring comfort to all of us now: “Life, of course, consists of final partings as well as first meetings."

Harry noted that he "cherished" those special intimate moments with the Queen as well as well as others in between. He continued, "You are already sorely missed, not just by us, but by the world over."

The foursome all donned black outfits of mourning as they walked the streets of Windsor Castle for about 40 minutes, greeting well-wishers and reading tributes laid by the public. The foursome interacted and put up a united front in honor of the late matriarch.

A Royal source said to People Magazine of the surprise reunion, "It's such an extraordinary historical moment and also a deeply personal one for the family that you'd hope and think that all members of the family would unite and support [the King] especially. And perhaps some of those wounds can be healed in the process."
