Amber Heard Goes Pin-Up On Vintage Mustang, Fiddles Comments After Fan Trashing

Amber Heard appears to be exerting extreme measures over on her Instagram. The 33-year-old actress and ex to Johnny Depp was straight-up trashed by her own social media followers recently as a 2015 audio recording of her admitting to "hitting" Johnny with pots and pans went viral.
Since the recordings, a petition to have the "Aquaman" actress dropped from her ambassador role at beauty brand L'Oréal has gained over 5,000 signatures, with fans also petitioning to have Warner Bros. remove Amber from her role in "Aquaman 2."

Amber's Friday update showed her looking relaxed and carefree as she channeled her pin-up side by posing on a vintage red mustang. The blonde hadn't opted for a provocative wardrobe as she reclined on the vehicle's hood, instead keeping it simple in an off-white top with a three-quarter-length sleeve, plus dark pants rising above the ankles.
Amber wore her long blonde hair in a messy bun as she delivered a smile from the vehicle she'd dubbed "Cherry Thunder."
A quick swipe to the right showed Amber closer up, with the star looking beautiful amid the background sunlight.

With 3.9 million Instagram followers, Amber tends to generate comments in either the hundreds or thousands. This update, meanwhile, only sat at two comments by the time the post was one day old – anyone heading to the comments section was informed that "comments on this post have been limited."
"Two beauties" was one comment. The other simply saw a fan leave two alien emoji.
Likes were, however, left, with over 267,000 seen in one day.
The February 8 post that saw Amber told she wouldn't be "forgiven" now also appears to have been fiddled – the post now has a blank comments section.

The audio recording obtained by The Daily Mail saw Amber confess to physically assaulting the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star.
"I'm sorry that I didn't, uh, uh, hit you across the face in a proper slap, but I was hitting you, it was not punching you. Babe, you're not punched," Amber was heard saying.
"I'm not going be in a physical f--king altercation with you... you f--king hit me last night" came from Depp, with Amber replying:
"That's different. That's different. One does not negate the other. That's irrelevant, that's a complete non sequitur. Just because I've thrown pots and pans does not mean you cannot come and knock on my door."

The audio also saw Heard suggest that nobody would ever be prepared to believe that Johnny was the victim here – the actor filed a $50 million defamation lawsuit against Amber following her Washington Post op-ed on being a "victim" of domestic violence.
"Do you know I'm a 115, well not anymore, but I was a 115 lb almost 115 lb woman...have I ever been able to knock you off of your feet? Or knock you off balance? -- "You're going to get up on the stand, Johnny, and say, 'she started it'? Really? I have never been able to overpower you that's the difference between me and you...and that's a difference, that's a whole world, and there's a jury and there's a judge will see that there's a very big difference between me and you," Amber continued.
Accusations of violence between the former couple has gone both ways amid their messy and very public 2017 divorce.
