Kaley Cuoco's impromptu "A Cup Of Cuoco" series got a "mini" version on Friday, per the 34-year-old actress' own words. Kaley's Instagram series tends to kick off to a very early start – 5.15 a.m. earlier this year – but the actress' video today came at 1.25 p.m. on account of a night shift and late sleep as Kaley films her new TV show "The Flight Attendant" in NYC.

Kaley's video today did briefly mention having slept well and a good yoga session, but it mostly came dedicated to what appears to be the end of the "Muffin" saga – we'll detail it below

Kaley's video showed her in a brightly-lit room and herself looking fresh-faced. The "Big Bang Theory" actress was speaking into the camera from under a black beanie, also showing hints of her toned gym body via a white tank top from popular athleisurewear brand Gold Sheep. The brand's logo manifested in shiny gold lettering across Kaley's sleeveless tank as she outlined the latest on the shelter dog she'd named Muffin – this 15-pound dog has been getting a ton of press, but the ride hasn't been easy.

The Muffin drama began approximately one week ago. At the time, the as-yet-unnamed dog was up for adoption at The Lancaster Shelter, with Kaley finding herself infuriated as the shelter didn't appear to be picking up its phones.

"PICK. UP. YOUR. PHONES," Kaley had shouted in a state of exasperation.

The drama continued to unfold as it appeared that the shelter was not prepared to release Muffin – the dog had, as Kaley reminded fans today, been deemed "aggressive."

"He probably never would've gotten out of that shelter," Kaley said before outlining that he was "growling at the gate."

The good news is that Muffin has now been "freed." Kaley's video then went onto thank the many, many people involved in getting things to this stage.

Kaley used some text to accompany her stories, with one stating that some animals just make her melt.

"I can't tell you why certain animals pull at my heart on a certain day, but this one did. I just felt deep down he would never get adopted being labeled this way."

Kaley had posted footage of Muffin. The small dog was seen barking a little, but for Kaley, him being dubbed "aggressive" was both inappropriate and untrue.

In the midst of the muffin drama, Kaley also found herself adopting a new pup.

This week brought joy for Kaley despite the stress over Muffin. Just a few days ago, the star announced that she and husband Karl Cook had adopted a senior rescue dog. They have named him Barney.

“But in all the craziness today, Karl and I adopted a senior, and it was so meant to be. I could cry thinking about it. It made all the Muffin drama worth it and made me want to fight even harder," she said, adding:

“This was no-brainer, and I already feel like this dog has changed my life before he’s even met me. He doesn’t even know it.”

Kaley has yet to fly home to California.
