Does Ex NBA Baller Shannon Brown Regret His Divorce a Year Later?

[Love] is such a beautiful thing to experience. It's harder and harder in today's age to feel that genuine passion from somebody, the kind of love that is warm to the heart and soul. The kind of love that will have you always thinking about this said person all day every day. But a lot of people aren't into giving that kind of love anymore only wanna talk about receiving it. For whatever reason real love is hard to find and when you do find it don't lose because you will quickly regret it.

Shannon Brown seems to be quickly regretting divorcing his Ex-Wife Monica last year. The couple was married for eight years from 2010-2018 and had there now five-year-old daughter Liayah Shannon Brown in 2013. The couple met in 2010 shortly after Monica left her previous relationship with rapper Rocko Hill. In that same year, Monica and Brown secretly got married in their Los Angeles home. A big surprise to many people around them, but they made amends by having another ceremony in 2011 amongst family and friends.

After the marriage, everything took off once again for the singer as she went on tour with Trey Songz after a 10-year hiatus. She released two albums during that time New Life and Code Red. Those two albums gave her many BillBoard charting hits such as "Anything", "Until It's Gone", while also receiving a Grammy nomination for Best Gospel Song being featured on James Fortune and FIYA's single "Hold On". She also made appearances on shows The Voice, Love and Hip-Hop, T.I &Tiny: The Family Hustle and others.

Things were going uphill during the marriage so it surprised many people when news broke in March of 2018 that Moncia filed for [divorce]. The divorce went through fairly quickly becoming official in October of the same year. Many People spectacled that Shannon had cheated but Monica was quick to dispell that rumor saying "Luckily for us, it wasn’t another person that was the issue,” during an interview with Ru Paul. Neither party went into detail about their split so we will never know what truly happened to the happy couple.

But a year later it seems like the Ex-NBA star wants his old thing back. Recently Shannon Brown has been doing interviews and he made it very clear he wants to rekindle things with the singer. During an interview with the Chicago radio station, WGCI Shannon mentions that Monica is his "Forever Valentine" and is a huge part of his perception of love. Now while he's been doing that, it looks like Monica has been living her best life all over Instagram. She hasn't responded to Brown that we know of, but hopefully, the retired NBA star still has that jumper that got him drafted in the first round.
