Adrienne Bailon Acted Like One Of The 'Docs' During Son's Birth!

Adrienne Bailon is opening up more about the birth of her newborn son, Ever.

“The Real” co-host explained that she was literally in the thick of things when her son came into the world.

Bailon was there to give a helping hand, literally, to her surrogate.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday, September 7, the new mom, who welcomed her baby via surrogate last month, explained that she quite literally pulled her baby out.

“I actually got a chance to pull him out,” she explained.

What’s more, Bailon and her husband, Israel Houghton, were able to make the already intimate moment even more intimate by having an at-home birth.

She wanted to give her surrogate the “support” of a home birth. Bailon’s mom and sister were also in the room.

“Obviously, with COVID protocols and all those kinds of things, you’re limited to how many people can be in the room [at a hospital],” she explained to the outlet. “With the home birth you don’t have those limitations.”

The birth of Ever was truly a family affair. In addition to Bailon’s mom and sister being at their home during the birth was Houghton’s daughter and Bailon’s niece.

“They met him within minutes of being born,” she added.

Bailon was allowed instant skin-to-skin contact with Ever upon his arrival earth side. This sweet moment was captured on Bailon and Houghton’s home videos, which she calls “cringey.”

“You’re not thinking about, ‘Oh, what do I look like?'” the actress recalled. “So, when I watched it back, I literally was just saying over and over again, ‘I love you so much, I love you so much, I love you so much.'”

Last month, Bailon introduced her little one to the world. She kept the entire pregnancy via surrogate a secret.

“Our baby boy is here & we are so in love! If you have followed our love story… you know that our journey to baby has been very challenging - But God is true to His word and His promises,” she wrote in an Instagram caption. “We have quietly prayed while sitting on this most magnificent secret for the last 9 months. He is worth every tear, every disappointment, every delayed prayer, every IVF cycle, every miscarriage. Everything. All we feel is joy and overwhelming love & gratitude.”

Khloe Kardashian commented, “I am so beyond happy for you A!!! He is the luckiest little boy to have you both as his parents. You are going to be the most incredible mommy! I love you! Enjoy every second  ❤️.”

You may recall, Bailon used to date Khloe’s brother, Rob Kardashian, when “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” hit the airwaves.

At the time of her relationship with Kardashian, Bailon was more famous than the entire Kardashian-Jenner family.

She remained close with Rob’s sisters following their breakup in 2009.
