Dayna Kathan appeared on Jenny McCarthy's SiriusXM radio show earlier this week, where she spoke of her short-lived romance with Vanderpump Rules co-star Max Boyens.
"I mean, how much time do we have on this program?" Kathan asked on The Jenny McCarthy Show after McCarthy questioned her about what was going on with Boyens.
"I would say that Max, I don't know, I feel like he really puts it out there too and gets put on blast about everything," Kathan went on.

While Kathan may not have had the most successful relationship with Boyens herself, she believes he hasn't been portrayed in the best light during Vanderpump Rules season eight and suggested to McCarthy that there's more to him than his bad boy persona.
"I feel like the biggest thing about him is what a f**kboy he is and that has been the main thing about him from the get-go. So I would say the biggest thing that people don't know about him is his love of like kombucha," she explained.

In addition to being an apparent ladies man and the general manager of TomTom restaurant, where Kathan works, Boyens is also a skilled surfer.
"I don't know if he's talked about this on the show... He's a really good surfer and grew up loving that and was born in Hawaii and raised in San Diego," Kathan revealed of her former flame.
While Boyens hasn't mentioned his surfing on-camera, he has shared several photos of himself in the ocean on his Instagram page.

During Vanderpump Rules season eight, fans watched as Scheana Marie and other cast members warned her about Boyens' treatment of other women and looking back, Kathan notes that their concerns weren't coming from a good place.
"With [Scheana], and initially with Danica and some other girls, I don't think they were necessarily warning me to be like, 'I'm looking out for you,' but to be getting in my business and to be mean and they didn't like me," Kathan suspected.

"I would say if it was genuine, like, 'I'm concerned about you,' but like, you can't talk sht about someone one day and the next day be like, 'Oh my God, I'm so worried. I just want to make sure your p*** is going to be fine,'" Kathan continued.
Although Kathan was warned about Boyens, she chose to give him the benefit of the doubt and allow their romance to play out on its own.
Vanderpump Rules season eight airs Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
