Now that Meghan Markle is no longer under the Royal reigns, she is done playing by the rules. Despite the fact that Queen Elizabeth II has specifically requested that Meghan and Prince Harry no longer use their “Sussex Royals” titles, Meghan insists that there is nothing truly stopping her from doing so as reported by Perez Hilton. She has a point. She isn’t technically breaking any laws, but she is only crossing one of the most influential families in the world.
A source told DailyMail.com that Meghan is tired of all of the drama involving the Royal family and wants to move on with her life.
“She says there’s nothing legally stopping her [from using the Sussex Royal name],” the source revealed. “Using the name shouldn’t even be an issue in the first place and it’s not like they want to be in the business of selling T-shirts and pencils. Meghan said she’s done with the drama and has no room in her life for naysayers, and the same goes for Harry.”
The source explained how Meghan’s and Harry’s characters speak for themselves despite Royal rules.
“The global projects they are working on speak for themselves and they chose that name to protect the royal name, not profit off of it,” the source added. “Meghan said the name of their brand pales in comparison to the foundation they are building and the enormously positive impact it will have on people and the environment. Meghan has told her inner circle that their success is inevitable with or without their current brand name.”
Meghan thinks that the rule declaring they can’t use the Royal titles is pointless. Whether they use the titles or not, Harry and baby Archie will always have Royal blood and be a part of the Royal family.
“She said regardless of the name, Harry and Archie have royal blood and no one can take that away. And that as a family, they will always be considered royalty. She said they know what their true intentions are and that’s all that matters,” the source continued.
At the end of the day, Meghan cares most about doing what’s best for her infant son Archie even if that means crossing The Queen.
“They are creating a better world for Archie. And it’s Archie who keeps them focused on the big picture … Archie already has a big personality, like his daddy. He’s curious about every little thing and has the absolute, most adorable giggle. He’s just pure love and joy,” the source concluded ending on a positive note.
