Kim Kardashian and Kanye West might as well be one of the most famous couples on the planet. After their fairytale wedding in Italy in 2014, the couple has been going strong. They have four children together. Kanye loves to spoil Kim, too; just in the past week alone, they’ve been to different cities across the globe, including Paris and Chicago. Kim said that this was a surprise Valentine’s trip and she was even seen rocking a bikini on a tropical island.
As this vacation proved, it seems like shopping plays a major role in the couple’s life. Which doesn’t come to much of a surprise since Kim is known for her amazing wardrobe. They did some shopping for designer clothes, and particularly, the couple was seen in Paris, France on February 19th, where they went to the exclusive Jean Paul Gaultier store. Kim was wearing a colorful skin-tight dress that was seen on her Instagram page that day and Kanye was wearing something he’s not well-known for- a smile.

But that’s not exactly the most memorable part of their visit. What everyone seems to have been talking about over the past few days was the reason for Kanye’s unusual smile- there was a video that circulated of Kim and Kanye as they were leaving the Jean Paul Gaultier store. In this video, the couple was seen in a glass elevator. Kim leaned in and placed her hands on Kanye’s shoulders. Then, the two moved in for a passionate kiss.
While a lot of fans swooned over the couple’s passionate kiss, there was another thing that a lot of people noticed. It seemed like Kanye, as he exited the elevator, had left Kim to pick up all the bags that contained their purchases. Some people were shocked by this behavior, asking why Kanye left Kim behind to take care of their bags. Kim had to scramble in order to get all the bags before the elevator doors closed, while Kanye was already out of the elevator.
TV host Wendy Williams, in particular, had a few things to say about the interaction. In her opinion, there simply “is no romance in their relationship.” Williams said that even 5-year-olds would have helped Kim with the bags. She also said that they most likely kissed because they knew they were being watched, and then brought up another awkward moment between the two- when Kim and Kanye were caught on the Kiss Cam at an NBA game in Chicago, Kanye didn’t respond, so Kim was forced to kiss him on the cheek. But it doesn’t seem like there’s much trouble in paradise, and as Williams said, if it works for them, “who are we to judge?”
