Kelly Clarkson's name is going down in history!

The gifted singer has broken numerous records with her soulful voice and continues to pull her weight against the ever-changing tides of the entertainment industry.

Instead of getting crushed by new competitors, the 40-year-old Texas native transcended to greater heights and finally has the perfect star for her efforts. September marked new accolades for Clarkson as Variety reported that the Billboard chart-topper would receive her first star on the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame. The historic landmark, which served as a public monument to entertainers for stellar achievements, was scheduled to add the "Stranger" singer's name in 2021. But, those plans got canceled by Coronavirus.

Now that the world has transitioned into better times, the ceremony has resumed its course and is set to inaugurate the Pop idol into the league of treasured artists on September 19. Coincidentally, Clarkson's Hollywood Walk Of Fame moment could not have happened at a better time, as this month marked a noteworthy milestone in the singer's career.

Before the Texas native became a worldwide sensation, the 40-year-old participated in the first edition of "American Idol" alongside other aspiring musicians to win a record label deal. Given her vocal prowess, the three-time Grammy winner defeated her competitors and emerged victorious in 2002. Hence, the "Since U Been Gone" singer would celebrate the 20th anniversary of her triumph with a shiny new star.

Additionally, the mother-of-two shall be surrounded by her loved ones when she receives the tribute on Hollywood Blvd. The list included significant figures from the blonde's two-decade career. Jason Halbert, who started working for the "River Rose and the Magical Lullaby" author in 2003, had the honor of being one of Clarkson's Walk of Fame presenters.

From working as her lawyer, music director, and collaborator, Halbert has been a loyal companion to the 40-year-old. Looking back, the man would not change a thing. "I’ve had a front-row seat to some of the most amazing moments in music history with her,” Halbert bragged, "It never gets old for me. And 20 years later, I remain foremost a fan."

The staffer was not the only person with high praises for the songstress, as "AGT" judge Cowell is set to serve as the event's second presenter. The history between the pair runs deep, as the record executive helped pave Clarkson's path to success by discovering her on the talent show. The 62-year-old also received his Hollywood Walk of Fame star from Clarkson in 2018.

Despite his contributions to her career, Cowell remains humble, telling the news outlet that the "Breakaway" singer would have achieved greatness without the "American Idol." Surprisingly, the BAFTA winner believed the talent show may not have survived its debut season if the entertainer had not stolen viewers' hearts with her endearing personality and powerful vocals. Cowell said:

"Where we were very lucky with Kelly was that not only could we find someone with a hell of a good voice, but she also had this amazing sense of humor, personality, charisma."
