Kelly Clarkson is dealing with her divorce in her own special way! 

The singer rose to fame after winning the premiere season of the music competition "American Idol" in 2002. The win earned her a deal with RCA, where she recorded her first single, "A Moment Like This" the song became the best-selling single in the US in 2002 and topped the US Billboard Hot 100.

She went on to release more albums that got to the top of the charts earning her multiple awards and accolades and adding new business ventures to her already famous name. The songstress has been through it and has not released major music since 2017 seems set to change that story in a special way.

The multi-talented singer has come a long way from the start of her career and is set to evolve to the next stage. Although she has a successful talk show called "The Kelly Clarkson Show," which is now on its fourth season, her fans have been itching for new music. 

To the delight of her fans, Variety has reported that the talk show host is gearing up to bring new music in 2023. The author disclosed that the album has already been recorded and will be her ninth studio album, the first major album since 2017's "Meaning Of Life."

She told the magazine that the album is an important one and would be out in 2023. "I'm working on this in therapy: I have a hard time vocalizing what I'm feeling sometimes, so music is helpful for me. It's just been healing. I recorded the record quite some time ago," she continued.

The television personality explained that the songs on the album were two years in the making and brought about as a result of how she felt when she divorced her ex-husband, music manager Brandon Blackstock. The artist, who shares two children, daughter River Rose, 8, and son, Remington "Remy" Alexander, 6, with her ex-husband, filed for divorce in 2020.

She described how she felt when they were first separated, describing the moment as hard and filled with many emotions. The mother-of-two recalled that at the time, she recorded 25 songs in a week because she had a lot of emotions to work through being a mother with a busy schedule and dealing with the heartbreak of separating from her long-time partner.

The result of her inner turmoil was being able to keep writing whatever she felt at the time but refusing to release it. The "Breakaway" singer felt "I can't talk about this until I've gone through it," she went on to add that some of those things she wrote would be on the album.

The "Duets" coach, who has healed since the divorce was finalized in 2021, is trying to co-parent with her estranged partner. The Blast reported that the Grammy award winner chose to play nice during a much-needed break away from the bustle of Los Angeles, CA.

The 40-year-old revealed that she packed off her two kids to her ranch in Montana to spend the entire summer holiday, where they were joined by close family and friends, including her children's father. She added that it was nice he was around as it helped their children feel a little more relaxed and settled.

The "All I Ever Wanted" singer marked twenty years since her win on the hit music competition, American Idol, and The Blast has all the details. The show's alum took to her Instagram page to thank her friends, fans, and family for their love and support from the start of her career. The message partly read:

"20 years ago today, I won American Idol, and it forever changed the course of my life." 

The "Thankful" singer noted that her winning moment "was the door that opened up so much access, opportunity, and creative partnerships," for which she would be continually grateful. Kelly shared that the moments she spent making new friends and family were priceless to her and seeing the positive side of the success and failures she endured since then.

She expressed gratitude to the people who stood by her when she needed them, emphasizing that she probably would not be here today without them. The "Stronger" singer did not forget to thank all the people that voted for her, concluding the lengthy message by wishing them hope and happiness in their lives.
