Actress Jenna Dewan Gets Engaged, Ex-Husband Channing Tatum Reportedly 'Very Happy'

Actress, TV host, and dancer Jenna Dewan has recently become engaged to actor Steve Kazee, and things have been going swimmingly for the pair. Not only have Dewan and Kazee showcased their love for one another publicly through Instagram, but Dewan and Kazee are also expecting a child together. Of course, fans have been wondering about Dewan’s ex, heartthrob and Magic Mike star Channing Tatum, as they split in April 2018. But fear not, fans, Tatum is reported as being “very happy” with how his ex is moving on.

Just weeks before Dewan is slated to give birth to her second child, first with actor Steve Kazee, she was seen showing off an engagement ring which makes things official in her new relationship. According to an E! inside source, ex-husband Channing Tatum is happy for her and happy that Jenna is in a good place, moving on. Both Dewan and Tatum have publicly moved on since their divorce in 2018 with Tatum becoming romantically involved with singer Jessie J.

While Jenna may hold a special place in Channing’s heart, sharing a 6-year-old daughter named Everly, each has made strides to continue on after the divorce. Things did reportedly get rocky for a while in terms of custody agreements with their daughter after some confusion over where their daughter would be spending the holidays. But after a custody agreement was reached, there seems to be no bad blood between the two. Each parent is committed to making sure their daughter is the priority in the situation, making sure nothing much changes in her life.

Tatum has been the topic of conversation recently after splitting with girlfriend Jessie J, only to reconnect weeks later. After splitting in December 2019, the couple eventually reconciled and things have seemingly been better than ever. Tatum and Jessie J have been somewhat public about their relationship which began in 2018, posting some risqué photos on IG. However, after their brief split, it seems that everything is on the up-and-up with the two, with Jessie even posting a funny video of the Magic Mike actor for Valentine’s Day.

Meanwhile, Dewan and Kazee couldn’t be more thrilled to be welcoming their first child soon. They recently showcased their new nursery room to People magazine saying that both Dewan and the new dad-to-be added their own input on the style and design of the room. Kazee has been vocal about his excitement over the pregnancy, stating on Instagram, “I can’t even begin to describe the feelings that I have had since we first learned that Jenna was pregnant! I have waited my entire life for this moment and couldn’t have found a better person to build a family with.”
